The Platinum Jubilee Pageant was livestreamed on Sunday, June 5, and viewers were stunned to see a woman fast asleep. Seated right behind Prince Charles, viewers wondered how could she be sleeping when surrounded by so much chaos and noise.

The final day of this extended jubilee, also a bank holiday, saw a pageant that was larger than life descend on the Buckingham Palace with more than 10,000 people including the military, trained performers, and key workers that were a core part of the event.

The eyes that should have been on the intricate procession or the royals in their glory, found something more astonishing to look at. A woman seated right behind Prince Charles was seen taking a nap. Netizens went wild on Twitter as they shared their opinions on this lady. One said, "Thoughts and prayers with the woman who has fallen asleep behind Prince Charles who will be an internet meme by the end of the day." She added, "I mean, she is Sparko out. Barrel of snooze." Another viewer noticed, "They’ve tightened the camera angle to cut her out now." A viewer noticed something else they found even worse. "Looked nicer than this guy...," read a tweet.

This user blatantly asked, "And who can blame her?" Another suggested, "Someone should really give her a nudge." A different tweet read, "Yes we are interested to know who she is. Better decision woujd have been to stay at home."

Another discussion involved, "No one seems to know who she is. She's in the Royal Box. She is possibly representing a Commonwealth country. Whoever she is representing they are not going to be happy with her conduct." To which a different user replied, "Her ‘conduct’? It looks like she fell asleep.. she didn’t behead a corgi".

Another joked, "This soldier is shouting "Wake the f*** up!" to the woman asleep behind Prince Charles." This user added some humor and said, "The woman asleep behind Prince Charles at the #JubileePageant is giving me life right now. Her WHOLE family is currently ringing down her phone to wake her up".

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor also turned one on June 4, Saturday. However, she did not recieve any royal celebration.

Earlier, on BBC Breakfast, Scobie said: “I think people are expecting some sort of big birthday extravagant event, that we’re going to see photographs from. From what I’m told, we shouldn’t expect anything. Those moments with Lilibet are very much private between them and the Queen and of course we know how much she’s been looking forward to it. They’ve been held back by a pandemic. Of course the times that Harry has been here it’s just been by himself for quite sombre occasions. And so this really was the first time.”
