Adam Lambert channels his inner Freddie Mercury as he rocks with Queen at Platinum Jubilee concert
Adam Lambert as a frontman of the band Queen proved to be the perfect opening for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee concert held in front of the Buckingham Palace on June 4. Looking stunning in a shimmery gold and black outfit, Adam along with his band Queen belted out a few hits to send the live audience into a tizzy.
Lambert, who has stepped in for the late lead singer Freddie Mercury, kicked off the show at the venue with a rousing rendition of ‘We Will Rock You’. The band followed it with their classics like ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ and ‘We Are the Champions’. Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sir Elton John, Alicia Keys, Andrea Bocelli, Diana Ross, and Sir Rod Stewart among others were some of the global superstars who landed on the coveted stage to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.
