Is Will Smith OK? Ambulance rushed to actor's LA mansion after 'smoke damage'
Fire trucks and an ambulance were spotted going into Will Smith's $42 million Los Angles mansion on Monday, September 20. Officials later confirmed that a blaze at the property caused 'smoke damage' on Tuesday, September 21. Video footage from the estate on Cold Canyon Road, Calabasas, California showed an ambulance entering the property just after 3:30 pm on Monday, followed by several other cars and a utility vehicle.
According to a witness, a fire broke out at one of the properties causing excessive smoke. A spokesperson for LA County Fire confirmed that there had been a "structure fire" that caused "smoke damage" at the address. However, it was not clear at the moment the exact location where the fire originated in the 150-acre estate. Despite the presence of an ambulance, the official further noted that there had been no injuries.

Reps for the actor were not immediately available for a comment on the incident on Tuesday. The Smiths had bought several neighboring properties and got Stephen Samuelson to turn them into one estate in 2003. It took seven years to complete the project, which spans 25,000 square feet of living space. The mansion in question was featured in Architectural Digest in 2011, two years before Will and Jada put it on the market for $42 million, according to reports. The celeb couple, however, ended up keeping it. The 52-year-old 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire' star was forced to evacuate the property in November 2018 as it came under threat from the Woolsey wildfire. According to property records, the estate is still owned by the Smiths, and also the actor’s longtime business partner, James Lassiter.
