'The Golden Bachelor' star Gerry Turner's hesitation to move towns might jeopardize his connection with Faith Martin

BENTON CITY, WASHINGTON: After his three hometown dates, The Golden Bachelor's Gerry Turner must decide whether Faith Martin or Theresa Nist should join Leslie Fhima in his Final 2.

However, fans feel that Faith and Gerry's hometowns are too far away to be a dealbreaker!

Gerry and Faith first met in Benton City, Washington. Faith forewarned Gerry that Benton City could be more rustic than he expected.

She took Gerry to see her horses. If Gerry's connection with Faith continued, he said, "I won't wanna be without you."

Faith stated that she wishes to live near her sons, while Gerry stated that he is unsure how to reconcile the logistics, but that he is pleased with their connection.

Reacting to the duo's conversation, fans took to X to write, "Either Faith or Gerry has to be willing to move for this relationship to work." While another user guessed, "That refusal to move single-handedly destroyed faith's chance."

One user wondered, "I don’t see faith moving, but would gerry move out of his and toni’s dream house?" A fourth user tweeted, "Not sure if Gerry would want to move to Faith's town…we'll see….."

Gerry got to know Faith's sisters and sons. Her sister mentioned to Faith that she appeared safe.

Faith is "so smitten," she said, adding, "I would leave with him in a heartbeat."

Faith's sons inquired if Gerry was in love, and he paused before replying.

"Yeah, I kinda think I am," Gerry said.

During his hometown date, Gerry also confessed his feelings for Theresa Nist. Gerry and Faith stared each other in the eyes and told each other they loved each other in front of Faith's family.

"We're in love with each other!" Faith revealed in a confessional. "It just feels so perfectly right."

The Hawkeye enthusiast resided in the Quad Cities region for a long time with his late wife Toni Turner, and he revealed in July to the official franchise website BachelorNation.com that he is from Iowa.

Gerry was born in Missouri and now resides on a lake in Indiana.

Though Faith got Gerry's First Impression Rose on Night One of 'The Golden Bachelor,' according to Reality Steve, Faith was sent home in third place on 'The Golden Bachelor' following Hometown Dates and did not make it to the finale.
