Here's why Markiplier doesn't collaborate with PewDiePie anymore
Three of YouTube Gaming's most well-known personalities, PewDiePie, Markiplier, and Jacksepticeye, previously worked together to produce a video. These seasoned YouTubers were the "Big Three" of YouTube gaming. However, as time went on, these alliances disappeared.
In particular, Mark and Pewds' followers had various hypotheses about why they stopped collaborating on videos. Mark was nowhere to be seen, but Jacksepticeye and PewDiePie could still be seen in videos. For a long time, there was speculation until Pewds ultimately spoke up and exposed the real causes in one of his videos.

Are Markiplier and PewDiePie still friends?
In 2021, PewDiePie took some time to explain why he hadn't worked with Markiplier in a while in one of his 'LWIAY' videos, in which he browses through fan-submitted questions and memes. He explained, “It's like, yeah, we're just not as close as we used to be. It's kind of awkward when everyone online is just going, 'You need to collab!'" as per SVG.
He then added ironically that he would never again work with another content creator. Even while PewDiePie's remarks may not have been what the fans wanted to hear, they did at least dispel a few myths. The lack of cooperation between Markiplier and PewDiePie wasn't the result of a dispute or hostility; rather, the two artists just drifted away.
No bad blood between content creators
PewDiePie, Markiplier, and Jacksepticeye were observed making absurd videos together in 2015–16, including one in which they smacked each other. Even if they might have been a little too edgy, these videos were a ton of fun.
The three had a really organic relationship. Together, they used to create amusing material by bringing out the crazy parts of one another. The group's duties took center stage. Mark was the ‘friendly narcissist’, PewDiePie was the ‘drama queen’, and Jack was the ‘sweet but problematic child’, as per Essentially Sports.
But soon, these three were no longer able to collaborate. Pewds and Mark were never again seen together, but Jack was still collaborating with the former YouTube King.
