LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Wheel of Fortune’ host Pat Sajak has developed a notorious reparation to ridicule and insult contestants on the show lately. The 76-year-old is once again the topic of hot discussion among netizens for his mockery of a guest on the acclaimed ABC show. In the latest episode of ‘Wheel of Fortune,’ Pat once again poked fun at a contestant who behaved dramatically on-air after winning a significant amount.

Pat’s ridiculous actions to mock the contestants on the show have been rampant in the past. Recently, he reprimanded an elderly contestant by asking her not to bother with her answers since she was failing at them miserably while he also stopped a contestant from solving a puzzle and reprimanded him in an awkward interaction. Such instances have gained a lot of news but Pat continues to behave similarly, poking fun at the contestants. This time, it was a contestant named Kimberly who had to face Pat’s wrath of mockery.

'You don't play a lot of poker, do you?'

Kimberly won in the 'Star Wars' themed game, earning $900 when the famed wheel she spun during her turn stopped on the $900 marker. Everything was looking good for her as she picked the letter P and bought her chosen vowel in that same turn. She outsmarted the other challengers, Jadarrel and Dana-Joel, and went into her second turn where she spun the wheel again, gaining $3,500 after it landed on the $3,500 wedge. However, Kimberly’s third turn was the most lucrative for her.

She spun the wheel and landed on the $10,000 mark. Kimberly was extremely zoned in, trying to figure out the puzzle that she chose for her next letter, M, before she looked at the wheel. This prompted Pat to remind her about her place in the game currently. “You have $3,900..almost $5,000, but again, [it] could be $10,000.” It took a brief moment for Kimberly to realize her big win. She picked up the sign that had $10,000 written on it. As soon as she read the sign, Kimberly shrieked and jumped up and down with excitement, making Pat a little uncomfortable who snapped with another snarky comment, “Wow, you don't play a lot of poker, do you?” He judged Kimberly for her childish response to the win and didn’t seem to hold back with his mocking commentary. No one knows whether it was Pat’s mean comment or something else but Kimberly lost her groove and ended up with nothing. But in the end, Kimberly managed to take $4,500 after a good recovery.

Pat’s mocking ways continue

Pat is infamous for looking down on contestants in the show with his offbeat and cynical comments. Before mocking a senior contestant and many others, Pat mocked a Navy veteran named Erica from Long Beach, California for her crowded living situation. Erica had a lot of pets which included four cats, three dogs, and a ferret. On learning about it in the gameshow, Pat responded to Erica’s answer with, “You live, I’m assuming, in a sprawling estate?” Erica was quick to respond with, “No, I live in an RV full-time.” But Pat continued sarcastically, “Where does the ferret stay?” Erica was hellbent on not bowing to Pat’s mocking ways and happily replied, "He has his own little kingdom at the end of the RV.” Pat replied, “Perhaps I’ll come over and visit you one day,” and before Erica could say, “Sure,” Pat turned to the audience and said, "And perhaps not.”
