The program that aired last week ended abruptly when Gerry Turner sobbed while trying to decide whether to offer Theresa Nist or Faith Martin a rose.

In Thursday's tell-all episode, he made the decision to send Faith home, and the two had their first reconciliation. Faith was heartbroken to leave the mansion, but she wished Gerry well.

He told her how much he enjoyed meeting her family and watching her in her element. Faith brushed away tears as she drove away, telling producers she felt "numb."

Faith felt overcome with emotion when viewing her split with Gerry on the big screen. The girls encouraged her and told her how much they loved her. She sobbed as she stated it was "gut-wrenching" not to receive a rose.

Faith stated that her connection with Gerry vanished in a moment, and she wasn't sure whether their love was only a figment of her imagination. She hasn't seen or talked to Gerry since their heartbreaking split.

One fuming fan also tweeted, "Me when gerry chooses theresa after telling faith he loved her INFRONT of her family and never even telling theresa that."

Another person added, "Gerry, you told Faith that yo loved her in front of your family but you keep Theresa that you were questioning your feelings with her. I don’t get it. Faith doesn’t deserve it."

For the first time since their split, Faith and Gerry reunited.

In a sensitive moment, they both burst into tears and held one other.

Faith sobbed as she informed him that he was the first one who made her feel protected. "You could've walked off with me right then and I would've been yours forever," she said.

Gerry confessed to Faith that he loved her but wanted to figure out who he was best suited for. He stated that all three ladies were lovely, but one in particular was the perfect match for him.

Gerry cried as he admitted breaking a commitment to Faith's family not to injure her. She assured him that they did not feel that way, and the two reached an agreement.

They exchanged hugs and expressed gratitude for the adventure.

After her hometown date, Faith had a sneaking suspicion that her romance with "The Golden Bachelor," Gerry Turner, may be coming to an end.

"The last scene where I was standing there waiting and the car drove away, I remember having this feeling like, Oh, my God. What if this is the last time I see him?" Faith informs PEOPLE.

"Certainly I had in my brain the very real possibility that it may not work out. I remember feeling it right then. I cried when he drove off.”

'The Golden Bachelor' airs on ABC on Thursdays at 8 pm ET.
