WASHINGTON DC, PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE: Former President Bill Clinton's new post has caused a huge social media uproar among Internet users. Bill Clinton took to Twitter to wish his wife Hillary Clinton a happy Valentine's Day on Tuesday, February 14. However, the loving gesture misfired in one of the most hysterical scenarios ever. 

The post featured the former first couple during their younger days where affectionate Bill Clinton wishes his beloved wife of 48 years Valentine's day. The heartfelt post captioned, "Happy Valentine’s Day to my forever Valentine!" Whilst Bill Clinton gushed about Hillary Clinton, trolls were quick to point out his infamous affair with Monica Lewinsky.

Clinton and Hillary's romance blossomed in the early 1970s when the pair were students at Yale Law, according to Daily Mail. Moreover, during his presidency, Clinton made headlines for scores of embarrassing moments such as the sex scandal of his over 18-month affair with White House intern Lewinsky. The alleged affair even led to Clinton's impeachment in 1997. However, Clinton's wife continued to remain his pillar of support and the pair were able to work through the alleged scandal. Although this is not the first time the ex-president was accused of cheating on the former first lady.

Internet users ferociously mocked Clinton's Valentine's gesture. One user questioned, "Was this meant to be a joke?" Another added, "Forever ? She’s not your only Valentine is she Bill! How many times did you visit Epstein island again? How many women accused you of sexual assault again?" A third tweeted, "WOW. You guys have been together since you were puppies." A fourth simply questioned, "What about Monica…?" "Where is the Epstein travel log when you need it?" read a tweet. "Forever? Except when you were with Monica lol?" a troll mocked. A user photoshopped Hillary's picture into Lewinsky's and wrote, "Fixed it for you.. you're welcome." Another questioned, "Bill ... did @HillaryClinton hijack your account again???" "OMG I can't unsee this," a tweet claimed. "I sincerely thought this was a photoshopped picture until now," a user speculated.
