Who was Ervil LeBaron?

Born on February 22, 1925, Ervil was the leader polygamous Mormon fundamentalist group. Indeed, he was named the "Mormon Manson." Being the leader of the polyamorous lifestyle, he had at least 13 wives. A lot of women who Ervil married were underage. Ervil believed in blood atonement. It is a disputed doctrine in the history of Mormonism. According to the same, the atonement of Jesus Christ does not redeem an eternal sin. And to atone for the sin, the sinner is killed the way so that his/her blood is shed on the ground as a sign of sacrificial offering. Ervil followed the same religious doctrine to back up the killing orders he gave to his opponents. Ervil's first killing started with a man named Joel in Mexico. Ever since then, he has been responsible for many murders and some of them involved his wives and daughters' assistance as well. In 1979, Ervil was sentenced to life imprisonment for ordering so many murders. Later, on August 16, 1981, Ervil died in Utah State Prison, apparently of suicide.

Ervil LeBaron ordered Christine Brown's grandfather's killing

Ervil's daughter Anna LeBaron revealed in an interview with The Sun that her father ordered the murder of Christine's grandfather Rulon Allred. Anna described her father, "My father had 13 wives and 51 children. Because of my father and the way he practiced, he took a doctrine and became fanatical with it." She claimed that people dubbed Ervil "Mormon Manson" because he "would have people killed who would try to leave his cult." The hits were carried out by his followers and sometimes by wives.

Ervil was considered the prophet of the Mormon Fundamentalist group while Christine's grandfather Rulon was the leader of the rival Apostolic United Brethren. Anna said, "We weren’t raised in the same community or family. Rulon Allred was their prophet." She added, "In my father’s eyes, he was a self-appointed prophet and in the sacred text of the church of Jesus Christ it talks about one mighty and strong. My father believed he was the one mighty and strong." Because Evril considered himself the "true prophet" everyone else who claimed to be mighty and strong was worth the penalty. Indeed, Rulon was ordered to be murdered and died in May 1977 in his clinic. Later in 1979, Evril was convicted of Rulon's murder. Along with Rulon's murder, Evril was linked to at least 25 other killings as well.

Anna LeBaron wants to meet Christine Brown

Anna and Christine are family but they have never met each other. Anna's father was Christine's maternal grandfather Floren LeBaron's first cousin. Indeed Anna and Christine are related to each other. Anna claims that even though she had never met Christine but it would be "lovely to meet her." She wants to get past all the painful family history both share and have a new beginning. Anna said, "But because our families share a difficult, painful history, I understand completely if, for her own well-being, it doesn’t make sense for her to want to meet me, being Ervil’s daughter." Anna successfully escaped a polyamorous lifestyle when she was 13.
