After becoming a mother, she was looking for ways to juggle caring for her kids and maintaining a career together. She created two websites that helped her connect with mother bloggers around the world where they discussed their issues among other things. Brogdon also took charge of catering, testing recipes, and managing the business development and marketing of Peel's ventures. The couple shared two kids — Viveen Peel and Rex Peel. The two were separated in the past couple of years, revealed Brogdon's tribute to Peel on her Instagram page.
