Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone's husband, Andre Levrone Jr., was born on March 9, 1995, in Laurel, Maryland. Now, he works as a real estate advisor at MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC. Before embarking on his real estate career, Andre was an NFL wide receiver, playing for the Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, and Jacksonville Jaguars before retiring in 2020.
His football journey began at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, where he helped his team win four consecutive Maryland State Championships. Levrone's talent earned him a scholarship to the University of Virginia, where he continued to excel in football.

She said, "We had a mutual friend who I went to high school with and he went to college with, but we didn't interact until he slid into my D.M.s. We started off as friends. He asked me to do Bible study with him and introduced me to so many great people."
McLaughlin-Levrone said that after just a few discussions, she realized the former NFL player was the "right person" for her. She said,"We both knew early on that we liked each other and what our intentions were. If I could say the one thing about our relationship, it's that it was always very intentional. Honestly, I knew the fourth day we ever talked.”
McLaughlin-Levrone and Andre are upfront about their religious beliefs. Faith is one of the main factors contributing to the couple's closeness, according to the runner, who has mentioned this several times.
She said, "A big part of meeting my fiancé had to do with the evolution of my faith, finding who I am in Christ and submitting all my plans to God. Not long after I did that, I met Andre. It was the first time I was in a relationship with a man who I felt could lead me in my faith to a place where I wanted to be." McLaughlin-Levrone went so far as to call her relationship with Andre "God-sent".
