PACIFIC HARBOUR, FIJI: Fans were excited knowing that 'Love Island USA' Season 5 Episode 18 will have an elimination round. The same, however, did not take place. Additionally, the fact that there hadn't been an elimination in a while infuriated the audience. Carsten 'Bergie' Bergersen being saved once more, however, was what everyone found to be the most shocking.

There have been a lot of rumors about 'Love Island USA' Season 5's producers allegedly favoring Bergie. But, are they really? Fans wonder who is voting for Bergie as he is the only one in the villa who viewers believe is not meant for 'Love Island USA'. Moreover, he hasn't yet found anyone who he can connect with romantically.

Why was there no elimination in 'Love Island USA' Season 5 Episode 18?

Peacock has been teasing us since the last episode that the voting for the cast members has started. This clearly indicated that the person with the fewest votes will be evicted from the villa. However, ahead of the elimination on Sunday's episode, Bergie wishes that it would have been better if no one had to be eliminated from the villa. And, no one was actually eliminated. For the cast members, this might have been excellent news, but not so much for the fans.

After the episode ended with no elimination, a fan wrote, "If the Bachelor/Bachelorette can prioritize ending an episode w/ a rose ceremony, it should be a cardinal rule to end eps of #LoveIslandUSA w/ an elimination. I can’t wait 23 hours to find out who goes home." Another tweeted, "Bergie safe again?! Damn. No elimination in this episode? And Casa Amor already?!! Huh. This is way too much." Another wrote, "I hope there’s a elimination today #LoveIslandUSA bc i’m really tired of seeing the same people i’m not going to lie."

'Who is still voting for Bergie?'

Witnessing Bergie constantly get saved in the show despite not making a romantic connection, one user tweeted, "#LoveIslandUSA I’m honestly going to stop voting because it’s clear the producers pick. Why is Bergie still here? When will this sob story and allowing him to stay end?" Another asked, "WHY ARE Y’ALL VOTING FOR BERGIE FOREAL The sob story/pity moment was cute for the first two episodes. It’s done." Furthermore, a fan slammed the show, "Smh I have so many questions. Like who tf is voting for and keeping bergie around!? Who does he know in production? likeeee he hasn’t been in a real couple yet. He’s just there." Another asked, "Who is still voting for Bergie!?" Another questioned, "America what was y’all on with the voting?? Bergie and Marco y’all favorites REALLY???"
