Who is Miss Jones? Wendy Williams' former rival says Kevin Hunter tried to put a hit out on her and end career
Radio personality Miss Jones aka Tarsha Nicole Jones claimed in a new interview that her former "rival", Wendy Williams' ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, tried to get her killed when she was on vacation in Aruba. Miss Jones talks about it during an interview with Skeletor about Lifetime's recent biopic on Williams called 'Wendy Williams: The Movie'.
Miss Jones said that she found out Hunter allegedly tried to end her career permanently. "Later, I found out it was really all Kevin cause me and Wendy never really had no problems. It was always Kevin trying to get in between our friendship cause he was threatened, thinking I wanted to be on TV, which I never did. I just wanted to get a hit record on the radio."

In fact, the news of Hunter accused of plotting to kill Miss Jones is not new. According to a federal lawsuit filed in 2008, Hunter allegedly looked to hire a hitman after Miss Jones made unflattering remarks about Williams, who he was married to at the time. It was not clear who filed the lawsuit.
The lawsuit alleged that Hunter was upset over the comments Jones made and was looking for revenge. He allegedly approached an employee of WBLS, where Williams was working, and asked the employee for help in hiring a hitman.
Who is Miss Jones?
Miss Jones is a former R&B artist, born Tarsha Nicole Jones, and worked for WQHT in New York City, and 1039 The Beat and WUSL in Philadelphia. She was known as the first Black woman to host Morning Radio in a hip hop format.
Williams and Jones were famous rivals when they were working with WBLS and Hot 97 respectively and even had a war of words on their respective radio shows.
Jones has acted in several movies like 'Paper Soldiers', 'Corrupt', and 'Death of a Dynasty'. She also wrote an autobiography, 'Have You Met Miss Jones?: The Life and Loves of Radio's Most Controversial Diva', published in 2007, published by Random House. In it, she wrote about her early singing career, a reported "wild affair" with Busta Rhymes, and even about her feud with Wendy Williams. She also feuded with Christina Milan, and Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles.
In the interview with Skeletor, when Jones was asked if she thought Hunter was jealous of her relationship with Williams, she said that Hunter reportedly wanted "complete control" over Williams, and the only way he could get that was by isolating Williams from everybody.
Jones recalled an incident when she met Williams in front of a jewelry store in Philadelphia, saying, "She wanted to come over to the truck to say 'hello' to me. So, we hugged, and we're talking; Kevin went into the jewelry store, and I guess Wendy didn't move fast enough. He comes charging out the store. Spit flying out his mouth. "What the f***, hurry up b***h. I'm in here f****** waiting for you."
