22-year-old Instagram influencer/model Mia Linda Sully from Essex, UK has been at the receiving end of immense criticism on the internet once again.
She recently posted a question on her Instagram stories asking her followers about the best resorts in the Maldives, while she is staying in Dubai. Her followers have slammed her for international travel during the aggravating Covid-19 pandemic and showing off her glamorous life.

Who is Mia Sully?
Sully is a self-taught makeup artist based in UK, with over 172k followers on Instagram and an equally popular YouTube channel. She rose to fame after posting makeup tutorials on YouTube in November 2017. She posts about her travels and glamorous lifestyle on the Instagram account @mialindasully while she has another Instagram profile - @mia_mua98, where she shares her work as a make-up artist.
Sully also starred in the reality show Absolutely Ascot, where she dated fellow co-star and millionaire Alfie Best in 2018, as The Scottish Sun reported.
Presently, Sully appears to be dating another co-star Henry Simmons, with whom she tends to post a lot of photos together. She often uses romantic captions to post photos with Simmons, referring to him as 'baby' and such nicknames in cozy photos.
Why was Mia Sully slammed?
Sully had traveled to Dubai from the UK amid the pandemic, from where she regularly posted updates of her partying and vacationing. She was slammed at the time for traveling during the pandemic risking many lives, as well as posting about the same being insensitive to the people back home struggling in the lockdown.
A week ago, the UK government imposed a travel ban on direct flights from UAE, adding the country to the 'red list', due to an increasing number of cases in the country. Particularly, Dubai has seen a marked increase in the number of affected people as tourists continue to violate precautionary measures.
To combat the rapid increase, Dubai has started shutting down its party spots, clubs, and bars. Now, a lot of influencers and wealthy tourists like Sully, who had previously traveled from UK to Dubai during the lockdown, are stranded in the city.
Fans believe that Sully is seeking to travel to another tourist location like The Maldives, where the effect of the pandemic is not that severe yet since she cannot return to the UK or party as before in Dubai.
Though Sully is yet to respond to her critics, a lot of other influencers have hit back at similar criticism terming it as 'jealousy'.
