LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Voice' Season 25 contestant Dani Stacy is an indie pop artist with a blend of country music hailing from California. Recently making Nashville, Tennessee her home, she often travels in her RV van. Stacy's musical journey began at a young age, and before settling in Tennessee, she temporarily called Southern California home to pursue her music career. Her dedication bore fruit when she won 'Best Female Artist' in Ventura County.

The aspiring singer released her debut single, 'Lie to Me,' in 2020 and has recently unveiled 'Settled On You.' Dani's exceptional vocals captivated the attention of Chance The Rapper and Reba McEntire, who vied to invite her onto their respective teams. During the blind audition, Dani performed Gloria Gaynor's 'I Will Survive.' John Legend was the first NBC coach to turn his chair, followed by Chance, Reba, and Dan + Shay. Dani received a standing ovation from all five judges.

After the performance, Reba noticed that she had been blocked from inviting Dani to her team. She expressed her disappointment, saying, "I'm so disappointed in my fellow coaches." She then addressed the contestant, "Dani, I turned around ready to talk so hard and fast but I'm gonna tell you anyway." Reba complimented, "I think you're spectacular. I can hear all kinds of genres in your voice."

Later, the NBC show coaches discovered that Chance had blocked Reba, and she expressed her disappointment with him. However, Chance later admitted in the confessional, "It was me. I had to use my block because she's a real power; she's the real problem."

Reba McEntire and Chance The Rapper plots against John Legend

Reba McEntire doubted John Legend before Chance The Rapper admitted to blocking the coach. John informed Reba, saying, "Sometimes the block pays off... he definitely blocked you." John tried to persuade Reba to not block him during the audition.

In a confessional, he stated, "I never worked with Chance. He is a formidable opponent but it's my season to win." Despite his efforts, it seemed like Reba and Chance were determined to block his chair and steal the strongest artist from him. During a confessional, Reba told Chance, "We are gonna gang it up on John. New strategy..." Chance added, "John, it's not your fault."
