'The Voice' coaches mock Reba McEntire as she flirts with 19-year-old Tanner Massey in Playoffs

Tanner Massey advances in 'The Voice' Season 24 Playoffs

UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: Reba McEntire was moved by 19-year-old Tanner Massey's performance in 'The Voice' Season 24 Playoffs.

As she tried complimenting the singer, the coach was mocked by fellow coaches for flirting.

Reba says to Tanner, "Have I told you today that you're cute as a button." Tanner replied, "You know I think you did."

John Legend then mocked Reba by repeating her compliment, saying, "Have we told you, you're cute as button, Have we told you?" This made all the coaches laugh.

Niall Horan added, "And as Reba would say 'I was taken to pieces.'"

Seeing Tanner move ahead in the show, a fan tweeted, "I knew I KNEW TANNER WOULD MAKE IT TO THE LIVES."

Another praised him, "Tanner is the best on Gwen's team."

A fan wrote, "Tanner song Impossible and my boy fought!"

One complimented the singer, "Tanner for the win!"

"Tanner Massey is so likeable and always bringing the intensity. His voice has so much cry in it and he uses it to great advantage. Plus he can interpret a lyric so well," tweeted a fan.

Tanner Massey missed keys while singing in 'The Voice' Season 24 Playoffs

Tanner sang 'Impossible' by Barbadian singer Shontelle. The start of Tanner's performance felt a little rocky to the coaches.

John said, "In the beginning, I wasn't sure if you were hearing the keys exactly." Tanner affirmed, "True."

John claimed that "everything kind of came together" as Tanner moved ahead with his song. John claimed that Tanner hit a note in his singing so "unexpected" that it made all the coaches go "Ohhh."

What John loved the most about the singer was the "passion" he showed in his singing. John believed that the audience connected with Tanner's passion the most in his Playoffs performance.

Did Tanner Massey advance in 'The Voice' Season 24 Playoffs?

Yes, he did! Six singers altogether performed from team Gwen Stefani in 'The Voice' Season 24 Playoffs Part 2. However, only 3 of them moved ahead in the show.

Along with Tanner, we saw Kara Tenae and Biar moved to the Live Performances round. 

In Part 3 of the Playoffs, we will see singers from Team John coming to perform on the stage to battle for the Lives. 

'The Voice' Season 24 airs every Monday and Tuesday on NBC at 8 pm ET.
