UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: Jordan Rainer, a country singer from Oklahoma, progressed to the Top 9 on 'The Voice' during the live results show on December 5 after earning the show's first Instant Save of Season 24. This outraged fans believed that there were more deserving artists than Jordan who should have made it to the Top 9.

'The Voice' Season 24's Jordan Rainer was almost kidnapped
Jordan became popular on TikTok after disclosing her near-kidnapping in 2020. She revealed in her video that during lockdown, she followed the same path every day.
An automobile went by her and stopped directly in front of her one day. Jordan had a feeling the man was planning to kidnap her.
"I knew in my gut that if I had walked past his driver's side door, that door would have opened and I would have been in a hand-to-hand combat for my life," Jordan explained on 'The Tamron Hall Show' in January 2023.
Who is Jordan Rainer on 'The Voice' Season 24?
Jordan's journey toward maturity had a difficult beginning. At the age of 24, she was jobless, carless, and homeless.
After receiving some financial support from a friend who had a doughnut store, she relocated to Nashville and got a publishing deal. She didn't know she could pursue a singing career until around five years ago.
Jordan was born with a disease that impaired her vocal cords, limiting her voice range to only one octave. She was able to address the issue with vocal treatment and coaching in recent years and is now able to sing in a five-octave range.
Jordan has served as the opening act for Luke Combs, Craig Morgan, Hunter Hayes, and the Eli Young Band.
Additionally, Jordan has written songs for Sundance Head, a former "Voice" champion who debuted at the Grand Ole Opry and hit the top of the Texas charts with her single.
'The Voice' Season 24 airs on Mondays at 8 pm ET and Tuesdays at 9 pm ET on NBC.
