Who is Brandi Marion? Iggy Azalea calls model a 'homewrecker' after Playboi Carti allegedly cheated on rapper
Days after Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, born Amethyst Amelia Kelly, based her former boyfriend, rapper Playboi Carti over alleged cheating rumors, she continued to take to social media to call Carti, with whom she shares a child, Onyx, born earlier this year.
Azalea first took to her Twitter account to call out Carti for skipping Christmas with Onyx during the latter's first celebration of the holiday as he was busy promoting his album 'Whole Lotta Red'. She posted a series of tweets where she slammed Carti for being busy on Christmas as well as for cheating on her, slamming him for allegedly inviting the woman he cheated on Azalea with at the album party.
On Sunday, December 28, Azalea took to Instagram to continue her tirade against Carti. She started her messages with, "A baby is not a pawn!! Shall I continue?," going on to write, "It's the lying to me for no reason that upsets me." Azalea continued posting messages on how she felt she was being "chased" and manipulated" and that Carti was not present for their son. She then took to posting audio messages with a black screen. She also addressed the two women that she claims were involved with Carti in Miami in December 2019. She said, "You both were already in the mix in December while I was five months pregnant and you very much knew that this man had a full girlfriend, lived in a house with her, and was having a boy. Y’all both knew that."
She said of Carti regarding the day Onyx was born earlier this year in June in the video, "This man was in Philly playing PS5 mid pandemic the day my son was born even tho it was a scheduled c section. I had onyx alone completely cause he was my only visitor approved with Covid. We lived together at that time." She also accused Carti of refusing to sign their child's birth certificate and promised she had more dirt to expose.
The woman that Playboi Carti allegedly cheated on Iggy Azalea with is Instagram model Brandi Marion. The 21-year-old model regularly shares pictures with her followers and became the center of attention after Azalea accused her of being a "homewrecker." Marion admitted that she was in a relationship with Carti, however, she denied that it was during Azalea's pregnancy. She stated that Carti was with another girl while Azalea was pregnant. She also reportedly commented on a video shared by Azalea, "I was literally leaving his house already," in response to the video. After Marion's statement, Azalea took to Instagram to claim that she and a friend had the opportunity to beat up Marion but chose not to, and referred to Marion as a "w***e."
Azalea and Carti started dating in late 2018, with Azalea stating in October 2020 that the couple had broken up. Carti previously dated Justine Skye in 2016, model Rubi Rose between 2015 and 2017, and Black Chyna between 2017 and 2018.
