GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA: ‘My Big Fat Fabulous Life’ star Barbara Thore, who died at the age of 76 on Wednesday, December 7, was married twice. Before getting married to Glenn Thore in 1977, she was in a marriage that lasted for four years. However, the identity of her first husband is unknown.
The revelation happened on January 15, 2019, on TLC's 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' when daughter Whitney Way Thore discovered a wedding album while going through her family's storage. Initially, she assumed it to be her parents but soon realized that it was not Glenn. She can be seen sharing the shocking news with her brother Hunter, who is an actor and musician based in New York City, about the album. To which Hunter shockingly replies, "This is crazy." And Whitney says, "We had been lied to our whole lives." "Obviously this wedding album is not meant to ever be found. My heart is racing and I feel, like, kind of betrayed in some way," expresses Whitney.

Following this, the sibling then approaches their mother to know the truth. Barbara, who was 17 then, admits by saying, “I had another wedding, I had the first wedding. I didn’t tell you that I had been married before because it was none of your business. And this was a long time before you.” And when asked how long she was married, Barbara tells, "Only for four years and we dated for seven years."

On August 6, 1977, Barbara got married to Glenn, who is the VP General Manager for Millennium Print Group in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, states MyNewsGh. And with whom, she had her two children, Hunter and Whitney, who once wrote, "I absolutely can’t. How did I get so lucky to be born to these humans?"
