Who is Ashley Trowers? Rich Dollaz’s daughter, 23, arrested for shooting her child's father

MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE: Ashley Trowers, the daughter of 'Love & Hip Hop' actor Rich Dollaz, was arrested in Memphis after being charged with aggravated assault. The 23-year-old Trowers said that she shot the father of her child because she was overtaken by fear.
Trowers reportedly informed police that she was working as security at a Kroger gas station on Tuesday, January 24 at around 2.00 am when Demiah Tatum, the father of her child, and another man by the name of Mykel Yates approached her in a Cadillac ATS, according to the arrest records obtained by TMZ. Trowers claimed that she made an effort to flee, but when the two got up to her pace, she fired two shots, one of which struck the Cadillac. Later, she called 911 and reported having a restraining order against Tatum and feeling scared after seeing him.

Why was Ashley Towers arrested?
Given that it was Trowers' first day on the job, she was shocked to learn that Tatum knew where she was and feared that he might have come to harm her. Trowers further stated that she saw someone reach for a gun inside the vehicle. Ultimately, in an act of self-defense, Trowers fired a shot at Tatum, causing her to be placed under arrest.
After leaving the scene for an hour, Yates returned without Tatum and informed the police that they had no intention of harming Trowers and were only trying to offer her some money. Trowers was taken to Shelby County Jail after being arrested for aggravated assault and later released on her own recognizance.
'I'm baffled as anyone else'
Dollaz addressed the situation at hand in an interview with The Shade Room and said, "I don't condone shooting, I don't condone violence, I don't condone any of that. But at the end of the day, I'm never going to be okay with a man putting his hand on my kid either."
"Being involved in a situation where a man is putting his hands on you is never good," he stated. The 'Love and Hip Hop' star stated that he was confused about how Tatum found out Trowers was working at Kroger. "I'm baffled as anyone else," he said.
When discussing the alleged domestic abuse that took place in Trowers' relationship with Tatum, Dollaz said that many women keep their abuse to themselves if there's a chance they might get back together with the abuser. In relation to Trowers, he remarked, "Sometimes you don't tell your daddy those types of things." He went on to say that he believes Trowers had withheld it from him out of concern for Tatum's safety.
