Who is Aziz Ansari dating?
Just like many of his celebrity counterparts, Ansari seems to prefer keeping his personal life under wraps. Although occasionally he does give his fans a brief peek into his life through his comic sets and social media posts. In 2018, Ansari was spotted with a brunette woman several times, which led to many speculating about her identity and the nature of their relationship. It was later revealed that the woman was his girlfriend Serena Skov Campbell.
Campbell is a Danish data scientist who works at PwC. She has a very impressive resume with a master’s degree in Physics from the University of Manchester, and PhD in Plasmonic Aluminium Metamaterials from King’s College London. According to her LinkedIn profile, she worked as a teaching assistant while completing her doctorate. While getting her PhD, she also served as a mentor with an educational program (ORBYT mission) at the UK-based organization Twinkle Space Mission. Campbell is fluent in four languages - Danish, English, German, and French.
The couple went public with their relationship when Ansari posted a since-deleted photo of them together at the US Open Tennis Championship on his Instagram in 2019. The details of how and when they met are not known. There isn't much information available about Campbell either since her social media pages are private. Although the couple's social media might not give people much info on their relationship, luckily Ansari seems to have no qualms about sharing some snippets of his relationship with Campbell during his standup routines.
During one of his sets, Ansari reportedly revealed that he had taken his girlfriend to India to meet his grandmother. A source who attended Ansari's show also revealed to Page Six that the couple was often subject to some racist incidents, and recounted Andsari sharing one such incident where Campbell stepped in and defended him. He said, "“He said he and Serena were walking in the West Village when a guy told her, ‘You must get a lot of free taxi rides.’ Serena said: ‘I pay half my share!’ But Aziz told her, ‘You missed the point, he was being racist!’ and she joked: ‘Well then, he should have said, ‘I bet you get a lot of free medical checkups!’ Aziz thought it was sweet that she tried to defend them.”
The current relationship status of Ansari and Campbell isn't known since they don't post much about each other on social media. Since there haven't been any breakup or split talks, it might be safe to assume that they are still together. Prior to Campbell, Ansari was linked to Jennifer Lawrence, and chef Courtney McBroom.
