The Golden Globes ceremony was held once again at The Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills following a one year break due to controversy over ethical lapses and lack of diversity. The 'Avatar' director posed with his actress wife on the red carpet ahead of his venture, 'Avatar: The Way of Water' winning two Golden Globe Awards for Best Motion Picture, Drama and Best Director, Motion Picture. Not many people know that Cameron had been married four times before he got together with Amis.
Cameron was married to Sharon Williams from 1978 to 1984. A year after he divorced his first wife, Cameron married film producer Gale Anne Hurd, however, they divorced in 1989. Soon after separating from Hurd, Cameron met the director Kathryn Bigelow and they got married in 1989, the couple divorced in 1991. Cameron then began a relationship with Linda Hamilton, actress in The Terminator series and married Hamilton in 1997, they separated after just two years of marriage. And in 2000, Cameron married Amis, his fifth wife. The couple has been together since and have a son and two daughters together.
