For those whose who've been longtime fans of Tom Brady, it's not uncommon to see the athlete alongside his wife and supermodel Giselle Bündchen. However, before Bündchen, there was another rather important woman in his life, actress Bridget Moynahan, the mother of his first child John Edward Thomas Moynahan.
The actress dated the quarterback for a relatively short period, between 2004 to 2006. The pair may have ended the romance back then, but a recent post by Brady proves that they are still very much a part of each other's lives

What is Bridget Moynahan currently up to?
Born in Binghamton, New York, Moynahan was born to Mary Bridget, a former school teacher, and Edward Bradley Moynahan, a scientist and former administrator at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Although she was deemed a tomboy while growing up, she began modeling after graduating high school, while she attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her modeling career kicked off when she moved to New York, seeing that she started appearing in magazines such as Vogue and Elle and even went on to grace the covers of the same.
Her debut on the silver screen came when she joined the cast of 'Sex and the City' as Natasha, a role which later went on to become a recurring character. Her breakthrough role, however, was that of Rachel in 'Coyote Ugly', the 2000 comedy-drama. She was also part of the classic 2001 rom-com 'Serendipity', where she played the role of Hally, John Cusack's character's fiancée. Some of her other works include movies such as 'The Sum of All Fears', 'The Recruit', 'I, Robot', and 'Lord of War'.
In 2014, she was a part of the action film 'John Wick', and reprised her role in the 2017 sequel as well. She currently plays the role of Erin Reagan on 'Blue Bloods' a crime-based drama series on CBS that's been on air since 2010. She is currently married to businessman Andrew Frankel -- the couple tied the knot back in 2015.
What happened between Brady and Moynahan?
Although their romance was short-lived, the pair split on good terms. However, it was the news of Moynahan's pregnancy that shocked everyone, seeing that it came shortly after they split and by then, Brady was already seeing Bündchen.
However, co-parenting has clearly worked out for the two of them, seeing that Moynahan spoke about the same to People back in 2019. "Tom and I made a decision to raise a child together, and we both found partners that not only supported us in raising that child but also loved our child as if he was their own," she said. "I don't think you can ask for more than that. My son is surrounded by love," the actress added.
