American television host, radio host, winner of Peabodys, an Emmy, and 10 Cable ACE Awards, Larry King is no more. The illustrious presenter's official Twitter account shared the heartbreaking news after it was revealed that he had been battling Coronavirus at the age of 87. “With profound sadness, Ora Media announces the death of our co-founder, host, and friend Larry King, who passed away this morning at age 87 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles,” shared the Twitter account without revealing any cause of death.

“For 63 years and across the platforms of radio, television and digital media, Larry’s many thousands of interviews, awards, and global acclaim stand as a testament to his unique and lasting talent as a broadcaster," the account noted, and that was probably an understatement. But King's personal life was just as colorful as his professional one. Married eight times, to seven women, and father of five children, with nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren King is survived by many. Their family however survived the tragic loss of two of his children, within weeks of each other in August 2020. As for his other children, read on to find out where they are now.

King's second marriage, to Annette Kaye, was brief, but together they shared his first child and son Larry Jr. in November 1961. The broadcaster had reportedly not met Jr until the latter was in his 30s. He had introduced Jr to his viewers, and the public, through his CNN show 'Larry King Life' in 2009. His current whereabouts aren't widely reported.

Andy King

After King married his third wife, playboy bunny Alene Akins in 1961, he also adopted her son Andy the next year. King and Akins divorced just a year later, and in 2020, Andy died from what the family said was a heart attack. The incident happened on July 28, and Andy was aged 65.

Chia

After remarrying Akins as his fourth wife, King and the model had a baby girl, Chaia in 1969. The couple divorced a second time, three years later, but Chaia and King went on to collaborate in books. By 1997, Dove Books published the duo's book 'Daddy Day, Daughter Day'. The book tells their individual accounts of his divorce from Akins. Chaia too died last year, following the death of Andy. At the age of 51, she succumbed to lung cancer on August 19. King shared the news of their deaths, writing "It is with sadness and a father's broken heart that I confirm the recent loss of two of my children, Andy King, and Chaia King. Losing them feels so out of order. No parent should have to bury a child."

Chance King

Born in March 1999, Chance is Larry's son from his seventh wife — the singer, actress, and TV host, Shawn Southwick. The high school graduate Chance is currently working in North Carolina.

Cannon King

King and Southwick's second child Cannon, was born in May 2000 and is reportedly a college baseball player now. King's fifth wife was mathematics teacher and production assistant Sharon Lepore. His sixth wife was businesswoman Julie Alexander, and seventh wife was again Southwick.
