They were cut off from the rest of the world, with cameras and microphones capturing their every move. Each week, the cast competes in new challenges and votes to evict one houseguest until one winner takes home the $750,000 prize. CBS debuted the US version in 2000 and from the beginning took advantage of the slow summer months by airing the show multiple days a week. According to CBS, the biggest twist of the season is a group of all-new houseguests moving into the 'Big Brother' House in a special 90-minute premiere episode. Moroever, to celebrate the release of its 25th season, CBS is about to air the 'Big Brother 25th Anniversary Special', which will be hosted by Nischelle Turner.
