What to expect from 'America's Got Talent' Season 18 Episode 6?

Since 'America's Got Talent' Season 18 Episode 6 is returning after a week's gap according to AGT Fandom, Episode 6 will probably start the second round of the competition. The ones who have already been saved in the audition round will now compete against each other to move ahead for the Live round along with the golden buzzer winners. The ones who have bagged the golden buzzer through their mesmerizing medley of performance will not compete in this round.

What happened on 'America's Got Talent' Season 18 Episode 5?

‘AGT’ Season 18’s Audition 5 kicked off with Sharpe Family Singers’ performance. The parents and their children from New Jersey sang ‘How Dar I’ll Go.’ Heidi was so mesmerized by the performance that she dreamt of building a similar group one day with her family. The Sharpe Family Singers easily swiped all four judges' votes and moved ahead in the show.

Adrian Stoica then surprised the judges with his dog Hurricane’s excellent routine. Together they told a story that had comedy, emotion, and acting in it. Howie called the performance one of the favorite dog acts in the history of the series. Indeed, Adrian and Hurricane bagged a unanimous ‘yes’ vote.

Chen Lei stunned the judges and the audience with his acrobatic skills. Howie dubbed Chen’s performance ‘fluid’ as he raised higher and higher on the balancing rope. The perfection in the performance was next level. Simon called Chen’s act to be “one of his favorites.” Bagging all the yes votes, Chen moved ahead in the round.

Coming back to the music, Trailer Flowers brought some country music with them. Their first song did not seem to much impress the judges. But all thank to Simon who asked the duo to sing a second song by interrupting in the middle. The duo then sang their original song. This convinced Simon, Heidi, and Sofia to say yes. However, Howie held firm with his no, calling the performance “boring.”

Then came, self-taught dancer Erica Coffelt. In order to prove to her children that she “didn’t give up,” Erica learned hip hop routine. The judges did not believe that Erica could be good, but she took everyone by surprise with her dancing skill. Indeed, all the judges thought she was worth going ahead to the next round.

Ten-year-old Ryland claimed that he was born with magical skills. He started practicing magic when he was 2 years old. Ryland used letters and numbers to show a predictive form of his magical skills. His act got famous with the word “scan.” Howie believed Ryland was not only talented but funny as well. With Heidi giving her first yes all the judges followed.

Then walked in a mysterious masked performer named M. He chose neither to get introduced nor to speak anything despite the judges' attempts. Even though his piano skills and his partner’s dance skills were nice, the judges were irked by the silence. Sofia believed that the duo had the skills but Heidi, Simon and Howie said No.

Barry Brewer Jr was yet another contestant to move ahead in the show. He performed a keyboard comedy set, using his musical keys to tell a comedic story. Sofia was impressed with him seeing music with comedy. All the judges agreed to give a unanimous yes to the performer.

Justin Jackson impressed the judges as he tapped his feet on the stage. The tap dancer came with the dream of winning and opening his own show in Las Vegas. Sofia believed Justin’s performance to have “made tap dancing sexy and funny and modern.” Finding Justin’s talent worth going ahead in the show, they all went with a firm yes.

Then came another magician Ryan Hayashi. Despite being good at his magical skills, Ryan failed to impress the judges. He asked Heidi and host Terry Crews to be a part of his performance. Even though Heidi was impressed with Ryan’s magic, she couldn’t stand in front of other judges calling out the magician for lacking showmanship.

The final audition was of Lachune, a singer from South Carolina. The student and the vocal teacher stunned the judges by singing her cover song of the album, ‘Yellow’. Simon praised Lachune’s performance, calling her singing voice “beautiful”. Heidi, on the other hand, applauded Lachune for putting herself first by taking the initiative to come on the show. Without any hesitation, all the judges gave yes to the singer.

'America's Got Talent' Season 18 releases new episodes every Tuesday at 8 pm on NBC.
