LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Marvel’s latest offering ‘Secret Invasion’ is off to an underwhelming start on Disney+. The show tracks Nick Fury as he returns to Earth after a long space mission, only to find that Earth is under threat by Skrulls, a species he helped save in an intergalactic war. Fury doesn't have a lot of allies as the Avengers do not exist anymore and he can only rely on Talos, a Skrull who is friends with Fury and Agent Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders).

The first two episodes were filled with small twists and turns, allowing Gravik, the leader of the rebel alliance of the Skrulls to cement his position as an undefeatable foe. G’iah, Talos’ daughter is also helping Gravik in his cause to make Earth a home for the Skrulls but still listens to her father from time to time. She is a character torn between two worlds. Gravik is all-powerful and can shape-shift easily as he shot Agent Hill disguised as Fury in the pilot episode. He’s adamant about starting a war between US and Russia so that he can use that to further his cause.

When will ‘Secret Invasion' Episode 3 release?

The third episode of Marvel’s ‘Secret Invasion’ will air on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at 3 am EST.

How to watch 'Secret Invasion' Episode 3?

The episode will become available to stream on all global Disney+ platforms simultaneously. Episode 3 is expected to be roughly around 45-50 minutes long, consistent with the time frame for the rest of the series.

What to expect from 'Secret Invasion' Episode 3?

The third episode of ‘Secret Invasion’ will see the battle between Fury and the Skrull rebel alliance intensify. After using his soldiers to shapeshift and occupy powerful positions across the world, Gravik will look for the next big thing i.e. an all-out war between the two superpowers to decimate the human population so he has a free reign to recreate Skrullos, their home planet, on Earth for his species. Fury needs to work together with Agent Halsworth to contain the damage and stop Gravik from expanding his operations.

What happened in 'Secret Invasion' Episode 2?

Episode 2 picked right off from Gravik shooting Agent Hill in Russia. Nick Fury was inconsolable as he thought he had lost his biggest supporter. Turns out, Hill survived the onslaught and Fury ventured out to gain more allies to fight the shapeshifting Skrulls. Special Agent Sonya Halsworth (Olivia Colman) is still hell-bent on the policy of destroying the Skrull alliance rather than making them an offer of a home far away from Earth, a tactic Fury wants to adopt. Gravik, the leader of the Skrull rebellion who has already wrecked havoc in Russia, now moves on to attack a US convoy to make it appear that Russia had retaliated for the attack on its soil. G’iah is still torn between helping her father and Gravik while Fury still needs desperate help to fight Skrulls.
