While Winstone was last seen in the British-American biographical film 'Prizefighter: The Life of Jem Belcher' in 2022, his 'Sexy Beast' character Gary 'Gal' Dove is all set to reappear in the prequel series releasing on Thursday, January 25.

'Sexy Beast' star Ray Winstone was declared bankrupt twice
Ray Winstone, who now has met all his needs and wants by working hard for over four decades, was declared bankrupt while he was young.
While interacting with a group of Oxford University students a few years ago, he told how he went bankrupt twice in the 1980s.
“I was spending more than what I was earning. But I was a young fella. I did not understand the tax law. I did not pay taxes for 20 years. I got away with it,” Winstone said as per Mirror.
"The second time I was made bankrupt, I made a decision that I was going to work as hard as I could to get out of this mess. I just wanted to be able to open the front door without worrying who might be there," the 'Sexy Beast' actor told The Telegraph in 2014.
Being a face of betting firm, Bet365 since 2015, Winstone has earned significant wealth in the past couple of years. In 2020, he also co-founded a sports management business, Integral Sports Management.

Ray Winstone's 'Sexy Beast' character is being recreated
Winstone played the central character of Gary 'Gal' Dove in Jonathan Glazer's 2000 film 'Sexy Beast'. 24 years later, the cult film is getting a spin-off series.
To be released with the same name, the upcoming series will feature James McArdle as Gal Dove. It is set to premiere on Paramount+ on January 25, 2024.
