LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Jurassic World: Chaos Theory', slated to release on Netflix on May 24, 2024, marks the sequel to 'Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous' (2020-2022).
The upcoming animated sci-fi action adventure saga will carry forward the story of the five adventurers of 'Camp Cretaceous' as they embark on a mission to find the truth after Brooklynn is allegedly assassinated.
The series takes place six years after 'Camp Cretaceous' and one year before 'Dominion', serving both as a sequel and prequel.
Before indulging yourself in the world of 'Chaos Theory', here's everything you need to know about the ending of 'Camp Cretaceous':
1. Campers got rid of Daniel Kon with a clever plan
In the opening of the finale season, Kenji was seen craving love and attention from his father, Daniel Kon, head of Mantah Corp. The reunion of father and son set Kenji up for divided loyalties.
The friends are suspicious of Kon's intentions but Kenji falls prey to his father's manipulation, which leads to a showdown of the friends.
Later, when Kon used Kash and Dr. Turner’s research to be able to perfectly control the dinosaur's mind, the campers undermined his meeting by short-wiring the mind-control chips.
Witnessing Kon's rash actions, Kenji finally realized that his father was into a shady business where he wanted to exploit dinosaurs instead of saving them.
Things escalated when Kon captured Bumpy and used a mind-control chip on the Ankylosaurus. Determined to undo the wrongdoings of his father, Kenji helped Dr. Turner escape on Isla Nublar and returned to Mantah Corp Island.
The campers made an elaborate plan to make Kenji believe that the island was about to be destroyed. As a result, Kon rushed to flee the island. He asked Kenji to come along but he refused as he chose his to stay with his friends.
As Kenji left without looking back, the six friends were left behind, smiling as they managed to save the dinosaurs from Kon's evil intentions.
2. A big Dino battle
The campers recreated Isla Nublar’s watering hole to accommodate dinosaurs and ensure their safety from the expected return of Mr. Kon. However, it soon turned into a battleground as Kon and his thugs captured several dinosaurs from Isla Nublar and implanted mind-controlling chips.
As they returned to Mantah Corp Island, a terrifying battle followed between the dinosaurs of the two territories.
When Big Eatie was injured at the end of the penultimate episode, it was assumed that she was dead. However, in the finale, we see her returning after healing to fight the battle and save her human friends.
3. Campers finally returned to their homes
The journey of Darius’s brother Brand, who has been looking for the kids finally comes to an end when he connects with Dr. Turner who escaped from Kon’s control. Dr. Turner led him to the kids on Mantah Corp Island.
As the boat arrived on the island, Darius and Brand had an emotional reunion. The campers finally left the island and returned home.
Brooklyn told Kenji that his father had been arrested. As she offered him emotional support, they shared a kiss.
As the teens returned to mainland and reunited with their families, news outlets went bonkers over their adventures.
