HOUSTON, TEXAS: The three-part investigation by YouTube detective Stephen "Coffeezilla" Findeisen into Logan Paul's cryptocurrency project, CryptoZoo, has shocked the Internet's cryptocurrency and influencer communities. The YouTuber has labeled it Logan Paul's "biggest scam" due to claims that he stole tens of millions of dollars that have been made public, thanks to screenshots and other proofs he has amassed.

The accused person(s) and the unsuccessful CryptoZoo game, promoted as a pay-to-earn game for blockchain investors, have been hot topics in online circles as a result of Coffeezilla's accusations.

'Investigating Logan Paul's Biggest Scam'

Self-proclaimed YouTube detective Coffeezilla is well-known for his videos in which he strives to reveal dubious cryptocurrency transactions while also exposing any other significant internet frauds that he may discover. Interestingly, he was the one who challenged the Paradox Crypto team on a live stream of IShowSpeed about their "scammy" game.

In the first video, titled 'Investigating Logan Paul's Biggest Scam', Stephen gives an early indication of the complex connections he would explore in order to determine what went wrong with CryptoZoo. “Today we are investigating Logan Paul's CryptoZoo, a blockchain game that made millions, but never worked,” he said before going on to describe the game and the objectives of his investigation. The fact that so many individuals put a lot of money into the project, trusting the well-known influencer Logan Paul, is the scam's central element, according to Coffeezilla. In the end, Paul's project was unsuccessful and didn't manage to bring in any money.

The almost 25-minute-long video begins with a montage of numerous people who invested in the game with claims that the game did not function as planned and that they lost thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars in real-world money, followed by Logan's assertions that the game is profitable.

CryptoZoo explained by Coffeezilla

According to the testimony given by multiple investors, the game was meant to allow users to earn money passively by only playing and earning special things in-game. “You started by buying this crypto token called Zoo, which is their in-game currency, and you use Zoocoins to then buy Egg NFTs which you can then hatch to become animals. You can then breed those two animals to become hybrid animals. For example, if you breed a gorilla and a kitten, you get a Gor-Kitty, and the more rare the NFT, the higher the daily yield of Zoo tokens that animal earns you every day,” Coffeezilla told while explaining the mechanics of the game.

The YouTuber claimed that investors who used tokens to buy eggs and subsequently hatch animals, however, said in their testimony that the system didn't operate as anticipated and that there was no "daily yield." This implied that CryptoZoo fell short of the pay-to-earn promises Paul made throughout his promotion, costing several followers a significant sum of money. Many participants in Coffeezilla's video came forward claiming that they had lost a considerable portion of their funds when purchasing tokens, with some even asserting that the game never functioned and continues to fail.

Who should be blamed for the failure of CryptoZoo?

Finding the person(s) accountable for the loss of such a substantial sum of money was Coffeezilla's main obstacle in conducting the investigation. While some people would be eager to pin the entire episode on Paul, the truth is far more nuanced. The YouTuber's primary targets for his accusations of wrongdoing are Jeffrey Levin, Crypto King, Logan Paul, and Eddie Ibanez.

Without going into the specifics of everyone's past, Ibanez served as the team's lead developer for a sizable amount of time. He is a scammer who has lied about his history to obtain high-level jobs at corporations in the past, claims Coffeezilla. Due to Ibanez's inability or rather, his unwillingness to pay developers on time, significant damage was done to CryptoZoo's development, which probably contributed to the project's unsuccessful debut.

Another target of Coffeezilla is Levin, Paul's boss, who appears to disregard warning signs while employing Ibanez. He later failed to maintain the development crew, and as a result, CryptoZoo turned into a flawed game for which he bears sole responsibility.

Before discussing Crypto King's role, it is necessary to address Coffeezilla's claim that he was the one who sold the majority of the tokens in order to profit significantly. In screenshots obtained by Coffeezilla, Crypto King claimed Paul had defrauded him of $40 million by withholding tokens. Paul's evolution into a boxing sensation is what first gave the game such a high level of legitimacy. He was the first to advertise the game through his podcast 'IMPAULSIVE', making him accountable for marketing it as a pay-to-earn game. He is a well-known character in the community.
