NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Wendy Williams has not been hospitalized. The TV personality’s publicist Shawn Zanotti clarified amid rumors that she was admitted twice into a medical facility in New York in the past weeks. “I can confirm that Wendy Williams is not in the hospital, as reported. I can also confirm she is not in New York, as reported,” he said on Saturday, May 20.

Earlier, The Sun reported that Williams was in hospital last weekend, but was ‘released briefly’ and then 'went right back in' a day later. Another source claimed that the ex-radio DJ’s family was ‘aware’ of the hospitalization and clarified that the 58-year-old was not in rehab. It all began when the troubled talk show host canceled a speaking engagement last minute at the Atlanta Women’s Expo. The reason was not immediately given, but her rep for the expo said that she would be sharing a video ‘apologizing’ for her absence at the event. Williams’ eponymous talk show is said to have ended because of her multiple health issues.

After her much-anticipated show, ‘The Wendy Experience’ ended, WDAS radio personality Patty Jackson gave an honest opinion and said she was currently ‘not ready for anything.’ Her comment came amid reports that Wendy's show may get a revamp and move to the CNN network. "I'm giving this one little side eye cause Wendy is not well. She's not... I'm telling you it's there's some things going on and they're saying that CNN says once she gets over health issues," Jackson said. "It's more than health issues, it's more than health issues.
