NEW YORK CITY, UNITED STATES: Wendy Williams is mulling over the idea of leaving NYC for good to start anew in LA, months after Sherri Shepherd took over her time slot on TV.
"Wendy is planning on leaving New York to start fresh in LA, far away from Sherri. What she doesn't seem to understand is that although Sherri's show is taped in New York, it airs everywhere," insiders told Radar Online, adding that she may change her mind before leaving.

The end of Wendy Williams' show
While her show went off air many months ago, her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, said it came to an "unceremonious" end. In June 2022, Hunter slammed the dull finale as unworthy of her legacy. "It is the first time in the history of talk shows for this to be done, especially for a show that has been on for more than 10 years," he told Entertainment Tonight., adding, "There is absolutely no reason why a bigger celebration that involved Wendy couldn't happen."
Wendy Williams' many problems
Williams has been through a lot in recent months, including a legal row with Wells Fargo along with a number of health problems. The former radio DJ reappears from time to time while visiting her favorite hangouts, but fans and friends are concerned about her behavior and well-being.
Williams had announced in 2022 that she was ready to roll-out a new podcast, but months later, with no episodes in sight, speculation is rife that the whole thing was cancelled before it ever began. "We are still working behind the scenes on several projects. There has been no official cancellation of the podcast," Shawn Zanotti, her publicist, reportedly said in response to rumors.
Williams' brother, Tommy, spoke to The Sun, when she visited the family. He reportedly said, "This is not a woman who is in the right frame of mind to get a show going," adding, "Do you see the condition she's in? Does it look like she's ready to start a podcast for goodness sake? It doesn't."
