For the Plath family, it looks like Season 4 has been about adjusting to changes. The family dynamics have certainly changed, with the older Plaths going off on their own path, including Kim and Barry. But it looks like this has actually led to the family working on their issues and communication.

Kim and Barry's divorce might have come as a shock, but it has actually led the older Plath kids to connect with their mother and father in a way they hadn't before. Even Ethan, who was not on talking terms with either parent, has managed to mend his relationship with his father to an extent. But among all these, Olivia seems to be struggling the most

After Olivia joined the family during their trip to Joshua's grave, she had a total meltdown over the fact that Kim would be present. While she refused to join the family at the grave, her actions certainly affected Micah, Moriah and Ethan, all of whom seemed tired of walking around eggshells when it came to her feelings. While Ethan eventually let the issue go and even went as far as to make her a birthday dinner days later, he was hoping that she would apologise for her actions. He noted that she was being cute and flirty, but would have rather appreciated an apology for her actions, which never came. Fans were tired of her behaviour as well.

"Olivia will blame everyone else for her actions before she ever takes accountability #WelcomeToPlathville" tweeted a fan. "Olivia its their brother. Your being selfish. You need to be there for your husband. Don’t speak to Kim and keep it moving. #welcometoplathville" added another. "Ethan made the malignant narcissist dinner and of course she can’t still even apologize. #WelcomeToPlathville" said a fan. "Olivia pretending to be all sweet and flirty at this dinner just shows how manipulative she can be to make it so she never has to admit her faults #WelcomeToPlathville" wrote another. "What and why cant Olivia talk about what went down with Kim...hard to be understanding of her position when we dont know what or if anything more then what we saw went down.. #welcometoplathville" added a fan.
