'Welcome To Plathville' Season 4: Fans call out Lydia for giving Kim 'life advice', feel she should become 'nun'

Season 4 of 'Welcome To Plathville' has been centered around Kim and Barry's marriage falling apart and it looks like no matter what Barry tries now, it is too late. Kim seems to have made up her mind and is ready to move on, and her kids, for the most part, have made their peace with it. Save for Lydia, that is.

As Lydia sat down with Kim, she explained that she had advice to give her mother. Kim humored her and listened to what she had to say, as Lydia explained that she thinks her mother needs to just take time apart and mull over things.

Kim asked what time frame would be suitable for this and even made a jab if she needs to wait for another 25 years. Lydia didn't have much of a response and began talking about spiritual love and religion, to which Kim had to explain that while all of that was important it was not the same as a lack of intimacy in marriage. Fans were having none of Lydia's advice either.

"I can't believe that Kim is even entertaining Lydia's life advice. Girl, sit down. You have NO IDEA what you are talking about because you are so sheltered you don't understand anything that is happening. #welcometoplathville" said a fan. Lydia didn't seem to get the message, as she went on about how marriage was not a contract but a 'covenant' and that she believed a covenant could not be broken. And while she held on hope that her parents would get back together, it looks like she might have to give up on that sooner than later.
