MOSCOW, IDAHO: Since the arrest of the suspect Bryan Kohberger, there have been a few shocking revelations about him. Recently, a web sleuth has pushed an arbitrary theory that Kohberger was often spotted with an "Asian girl," and on the night of the murders, he looked and acted "normal".

The PhD student Kohberger was arrested and charged with the murder of four students of the University of Idaho — Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kerndole, Madison Mogen, and Ethan Chapin. The suspect is currently charged with four counts of first-degree murder and felony burglary.

Why did Bryan Kohberger RETURN to crime scene area around 9am? Web sleuths have wild theories

The Twitter user, who posted about this, wrote, "Neighbors told reporter that Bryan was seen often with an Asian girl, & seemed normal the night of the murders. Does this girl live near the King Rd house? It is said around 4:10."

The mystery Asian girl could be the link that connects the suspect to the victims. Till now, the prosecutors have not revealed why suspect Bryan Kohberger might have wanted to kill the four students.

Since the chilling murders, there have been several Internet theories about the gruesome crime, the victims and the suspect. But they have been debunked by Moscow PD that had issued a strong blanket warning to such homegrown 'detectives'. It was only after the suspect was arrested, that the 'probable cause' affidavit against him was unsealed in court that gave previously unknown details about the crime, especially Kohberger's suspicious activities in the days leading up to the crime, the night of the murders and what he did afterwards.

Was Asian woman Kohberger's crush?

However, there's no valid information on whether Kohberger was dating or seeing any Asian woman. But there's reports that he once had a crush on his classmate, Kim Kenely, who is also Asian. An occupational therapist, Kim Kenely, 27, resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she works at an assisted living facility. When they were sixth graders at Pleasant Valley Intermediate School in Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania, Kohberger developed feelings for Kenely. Kenely claims that Kohberger started pursuing her romantically after she went on to become a high school cheerleader.

Kenely's mother described Kohberger as a "chubby, awkward kid" who pursued her daughter obstinately. He told her he liked her and repeatedly left love letters in her locker. Former classmates also disclosed that Kohberger was bullied in middle school for being overweight. Based on anonymity, a person said, "They literally tortured him, girls started making fun of him in middle school," as reported by MEAWW.

Suspect's next hearing

Kohberger was apprehended on December 30 at his parents' home in eastern Pennsylvania, more than 2,000 miles from Moscow. Following his extradition from Pennsylvania, Kohberger was transferred to the Latah County Jail on January 4, late in the afternoon. As previously reported, the judge has issued a gag order in the case. Kohberger gave up his right to an immediate preliminary hearing on January 12. Now, the next hearing will start on June 26.

Crucial details about Bryan Kohberger from affidavit

While no public link has been established between Kohberger and the murders, authorities collected Kohbeger's DNA from the crime scene. The police already had Kohberger on their radar and were tracking him down through various techniques in weeks leading upto his arrest.

Furthermore, as per the affidavit, the survivor, Dylan Mortensen, told police that she saw the masked intruder leave the house and overheard him telling his victims, "I'm going to help you," before stabbing them to death. She stood in "frozen shock" when she noticed "a figure wrapped in black attire and a mask that covered the person's mouth and nose approaching toward her," who police suspected as Kohberger, reported by MEAWW.
