MOSCOW, IDAHO: Following the arrest of Bryan Kohberger, a shocking revelation has now been made that the alleged killer returned to the scene hours after the massacre. This new bombshell piece of information was reportedly mentioned in an official affidavit, which also states that "Kohberger, the user of the 8458 Phone, was likely the driver of the white Elantra that is observed departing Pullman, WA, and that this vehicle is likely Suspect Vehicle 1."
These disclosures have not just left authorities startled but also evoked a serious discussion on social media with a user posting, “Why would he return? Maybe he was looking for something he forgot? #BryanKohberger #BCK #Idaho #IdahoStudentsSuspect.” Another user shared, “His knife sheath was found next to Maddie. I'm assuming he was coming back for that.” The third one speculated, “Maybe or was he there waiting for a reaction?”

A possible hunt for the knife?
Also, when a person wrote, “Did #BryanKohberger return to the crime at 9.am because he knew he left the sheath behind (possibly to retrieve it) or get gratification from his doings. Nothing was out that a murder occurred at this time,” the second one suggested, “He probably did a cruise of the area to see if they had been found yet & check if there was a police presence at the home. And possibly realized he left the sheath and was considering attempting to retrieve it.”

An internet sleuth guessed, “I think nothing had been reported publicly and he knew he was missing the knife sheath so he risked it and went back. I think he went in and that’s why there are reports of the open door. Didn’t find the sheath.” But another one did not seemingly agree as they stated, “He's plenty stupid but I'd be surprised if he was stupid enough to return for the knife sheath. Probably the other suggestion or something like it.”

It’s so scary that Bryan Kohberger went back to the house around 9am knowing the bodies of the four people he just brutally stabbed to death were still undiscovered inside…. Also knowing he left a witness who could ID him. Thinking he might have realized he left his knife sheath

“It’s so scary that Bryan Kohberger went back to the house around 9am knowing the bodies of the four people he just brutally stabbed to death were still undiscovered inside…. Also knowing he left a witness who could ID him. Thinking he might have realized he left his knife sheath,” a tweet read.
Is Bryan innocent or guilty?
Currently, the 28-year-old PhD student, accused of killing Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin, has been placed at Latah County Jail after he was brought to Idaho from Pennsylvania. He was caught on December 30 from his parents’ home. Following his arrest, his family in a statement cleared that they believe Bryan’s innocent. They shared, “First and foremost, we care deeply for the four families who have lost their precious children. There are no words that can adequately express the sadness we feel, and we pray each day for them. We will continue to let the legal process unfold and as a family we will love and support our son and brother.”
“We have fully cooperated with law enforcement agencies in an attempt to seek the truth and promote his presumption of innocence rather than judge unknown facts and make erroneous assumptions. We respect privacy in this matter as our family and the families suffering loss can move forward through the legal process,” the statement added.
But the recent findings tell a very different story as the affidavit reportedly said that before taking the lives of the four victims, Bryan’s phone location was observed near the off-campus house 12 times. His phone also apparently pinged once near the crime scene after the murders.
The official paper added as reported by The Sun, “Further review indicated that the 8458 Phone utilized cellular resources on November 13, 2022, that are consistent with the 8458 Phone leaving the area of the Kohberger Residence at approximately [9] a.m. and traveling to Moscow, ID. Specifically, the 8458 Phone utilized cellular resources that would provide coverage to the King Road Residence between 9.12 am and 9.21 am.”
