'Cobra' and his younger brother Tristan never shy away from sharing updates on the social media platform from their personal lives. Although most of the time, the duo receives backlash for their misogynistic remarks, they still have an ardent group of supporters, specifically among Gen Z.

The kickboxer-turned-media personality shared an excerpt from his childhood that was related to his father, Emory Tate. Perhaps his tweet provides a clearer picture of Andrew Tate's upbringing and explains why he takes such strong positions.

'So you learn to get up'

Back in April 2023, Andrew took to Twitter to share a lesson that he learned as an outcome of his father's aggressive behavior. Here's what Tate's Tweet read, "When I was a toddler, my dad bumped me at random. Pushed me over, nonstop. Eventually, I learned to packpeddle extremely proficiently. So, he pushed harder. When I was older, he did it to Tristan too. I remember watching. We asked him, "Why push us dad?" To which Emory said, So you learn to get up."

Andrew Tate often speaks about his father with admiration and reverence, despite being honest about the "harsh and aggresive treatment" meted out to him and his brother.

At the time of writing, the tweet had 8.4 million views and nearly 60k likes. There were several who made a remark on Tate's upbringing.
