BRONX, NEW YORK CITY: During the Subway Series, a Yankees fan was seen drinking his beer in an unusual way. An Instagram user named NewYorkNico posted a video of a Bronx Bombers fan at Yankee Stadium on Monday night, August 23 using a common straw to punch a hole in his hot dog.

The spectacular edition of the Subway series between New York Yankees and New York Mets witnessed the bizarre scene as the Yankees fan was caught on camera placing his hotdog in his beer and drinking it. The video has been extensively circulated on social media and the man's inexplicable actions have shocked and amused numerous fans, with many wondering if this is the new way to drink beer or eat a hotdog.

Instagram user NewYorkNico captioned the viral video, "Wtf is going on at baseball games this year?" The video on his page has more than 47,000 likes. The fan licked both ends of the straw before bending down to pick up what appeared to be beer from the ground and placing the hot dog inside. He then drank through the hot dog, which was almost completely submerged. 

Social media is flooded with hilarious comments and reactions to the video. "All of this is disgusting BUT the sucking the meat out of the straw is some of the nastiest shit I ever see," reacted one user on Instagram. Another wrote, "WHOAAA PAUSE LMAO." Someone else quipped, "This brings a new meaning to the phrase "raw dogging it." One user reacted, "I wish there was a way to go back in time and not watch this."

On Twitter, a user tweeted, "I've tried cutting back on using plastic straws too but this feels a bit ridiculous." "It’s just a strawsage," wrote another. "Life sentence. No parole," one user wrote.
