Viral video shows cop ripping out car window of 'sovereign citizen' driving an unregistered vehicle
NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA: In a viral video, a policeman was seen ripping off the window of a car belonging to a "sovereign citizen" after she repeatedly refused to acknowledge their authority on being stopped for driving a vehicle without registration.
The incident reportedly took place on the Pacific Highway in Coffs Harbour, NSW at 1 pm on Wednesday, January 18, when a male officer pulled over Helen Delaney, 52, and asked her to wind her window down. He told Delaney that she was being stopped because she was driving without registration, but the so-called "sovereign citizen" refused to heed them and also declined to give her name or driver's license before telling the officer he had "no jurisdiction."

In the almost three-minute-long clip, Delaney and her co-passenger, who filmed the scene, were seen telling the police officer, “We’re not driving. We’re traveling,” the pair yelled. The officer then loses his patience and demands Delaney gets out of the car while calling for backup. “I will break the window,” the officer says. He also repeatedly stresses that they would be arrested if they did not provide details.
Luke Simpson was "travelling" with Helen today in Coffs Harbour when they were pulled over by the cops and performed their SovCit shtick. She was arrested after a satisfying window smash.

The passenger then tells the officer, "You have no authority here. Who do you derive your authority from? There is no sovereign in this country. Don't you dare think you guys have authority here?" At that point, the officer reaches through the little opening in the window, grips the glass and pushes it outward toward himself as it shatters. "You're a f***ing p***k. Man, I would just love to get you one-on-one," the co-passenger says. He continues cursing the police officers as they arrest the duo for refusing to provide officers with her details.
As per Daily Mail, Delaney has been charged with outstanding warrants, use of an unregistered motor vehicle on the road, unpaid motor vehicle tax, use of an uninsured motor vehicle on road, refusing to produce a driver’s license, and refusing or failing to submit to a breath test. She was reportedly refused bail to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court on Thursday, January 19. However, the charges against her co-passenger have not been revealed.
NSW Police released a statement which read, "Subsequent checks revealed the vehicle’s registration had expired in July 2022. Police spoke with the driver, a 52-year-old woman, who was allegedly wanted on two outstanding arrest warrants for domestic violence-related offenses. The woman allegedly failed to provide officers with her details and was arrested at the scene and taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station. The Coffs Harbour woman was refused bail to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court today (Thursday, 19 January)."
