MOSCOW, IDAHO: Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves were brutally murdered at the University of Idaho over a month ago, but neither a suspect nor a murder weapon has been found. Recently, one unsettling new bodycam footage has been found where it can be seen that a cop was talking to one of the Idaho murder victims just weeks before the killings.

The video was shared by ABC news, where Xana Kernodle could be seen addressing the police. It was the second noise complaint call that Moscow police had received from the apartment that evening, according to ABC News. The officer tells Kernodle at the door, "I can hear you from clear the down road when we were coming up here, and we can hear the music," the officer tells Kernodle at the door, to which she calmly responds: "I'm so sorry about that." The officer further adds, "Any outside music, any loud yelling needs to be done, 'cause next time you're getting a ticket," the officer said.

A bodycam video that was shared earlier shows Madison Mogen addressing the police over the phone, as they received the same noise complaint that the neighbors raised earlier. Mogen, who identifies herself as "Maddie," was speaking to the officer over the phone. Kernodle can be heard saying she was "so sorry" for the inconvenience. "I'm just frustrated," she tells the officer. It is unclear whether Mogen was in the house at that moment, but the officer urges her to "just come home." These videos are being surfaced online after more than six weeks of horrifying killings, as reported by MEAWW.

The house will be cleaned up and given back to the owner on Friday, seven weeks after the quadruple homicides. Team Idaho Property Management Services and the Moscow Police Department are collaborating to  "begin remediation of the residence by a private company." "Starting Friday morning, we are going to be bringing in a professional cleaning crew to go to the residence and begin cleaning," Moscow police Chief James Fry stated in a video statement on 29th December, Thursday.

The cleanup would require removing both biohazardous substances and forensic chemicals needed by law enforcement for evidence processing, according to Merida McClanahan, a supervisor at Team Idaho Real Estate and Property Management, as reported by Seattle Times.

The probe is still going nowhere in the interim, and the authorities have not released any fresh material since the holiday break. The Moscow Police Department has, however, confirmed that an automobile discovered in Oregon that had earlier given rise to such rumors was unrelated to the stabbings.

To maintain the investigation's integrity, officials keep vital pieces of information a secret, but social media's fixation with the case has gravely hampered the investigation. In addition, increasing pressure from the victims' families has worsened matters for the police. There has been no progress at all in the last six weeks after the murders. Concerning the case that has made national headlines, the police claimed to have received over 10,000 tips.
