Viral TikToker Nathan 'Doggface' Apodaca arrested for illegal marijuana possession is freed on $600 bail
IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO: Nathan Apodaca, also known as Doggface, was detained at his Idaho residence for marijuana possession. According to the Idaho State Police, Apodaca was detained and booked for two misdemeanors: marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said, a state trooper stopped a red Chevrolet Silverado, that Apodaca was driving due to an expired registration tag. The officer stated that as they approached the truck, they immediately smelled marijuana.
While Apodaca was looking for his registration, the officer claims he discovered edibles in the glove box. At that point, the trooper allegedly demanded Nathan to exit the vehicle. Idaho State Police claimed Apodaca acknowledged there was marijuana in the truck. Three packages of THC gummies were discovered inside the car, according to the trooper, along with a sticky dab scraping tool. The TikToker was arrested and then freed on a $600 bond. Meanwhile, after the release, Apodaca gave a very different account of what transpired during his arrest.

Apodaca told TMZ, "During the arrest, the officers failed to read me my Miranda rights. Initially, when officers found weed they said they were only going to write a ticket. They then found a gun and told me I was under arrest because I had a felony on my record and I wasn't allowed to possess a firearm." He added: “However, I do not have a felony on my record, which I told the officers. Despite me telling them this, I was taken into custody. I was held in jail for several hours without bond before they told me they make a huge mistake. Then was told I was only being held on the weed charge and could bond out.”
Apodaca gained popularity on TikTok in 2020 when he uploaded a video of himself longboarding through Idaho Falls while lip-syncing to Fleetwood Mac's 'Dreams' and sipping Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice. The native of Idaho Falls has done some spectacular TV work since taking over TikTok, including acting in ads with Snoop Dogg and launching a clothing line. He even participated in the inaugural parade simulation for President Joe Biden.
Several businesses have leaped at the chance to collaborate with Doggface including Lux Longboards when it introduced a limited edition electronic longboard. Additionally, he has placed commercials for Idaho Potatoes, Xbox, ASOS, and LG. According to Wealthy Rich Celeb, Apodaca's net worth is estimated to be $900,000 in 2022.
