Nathan Apodaca – the TikTok star riding a skateboard while lip-syncing Fleetwood Mac’s 'Dreams' and sipping Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice – took the internet by storm with his short video and set off numerous copycat videos by people all over the country. However, in what might be Apodaca's biggest impact till now, Mick Fleetwood – the legendary band's drummer, co-founder and de facto leader – joined TikTok just to recreate Apodaca's video.

The iconic musician posted his own version of the clip in which he rolls along and sips from a full bottle of Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice. Mick lip-syncs to his bandmate Stevie Nicks' lyrics as a light drizzle comes down. Mick captioned the video saying, "@420doggface208 had it right. Dreams and Cranberry just hits different," followed by the hashtag #CranberryDreams.

The Twitter account @RexChapman re-posted the TikTok clip in the micro-blogging site and wrote, "Timeline cleanser. I can’t get enough. Here's Mick Fleetwood recreating the 'Dreams' viral video..."

Hundreds of thousands of reactions poured in on Twitter after Mick's version of Apodaca's viral video was posted. One user wrote, "Mick Fleetwood joining TikTok just to make this video is peak 2020," while another tweeted, "I’d like to rollerblade together and hold hands while we listen to Fleetwood Mac." A different user, bringing Trump's Covid-19 diagnosis into the mix, wrote, "only a video of Donald Trump skateboarding listening to Fleetwood Mac and drinking juice will convince me he is healthy."

Another person, praising Mick's video, simply tweeted, "This is the best thing on twitter right now."

Before Apodaca's video, 'Dreams' garnered an average of 49,000 streams a day, Rolling Stone reported. Since Apodaca shared the TikTok, the classic track off of the album 'Rumours' has been streamed an average of 105,000 times a day! Sales of 'Dreams' nearly tripled after Apodaca posted the video on Saturday (October 3) shooting up 184% by Monday.

Pointing this out, a Twitter user noted, "Mick Fleetwood just joined TikTok and recreated @420doggface208’s incredibly viral video longboarding while sipping cran juice that put Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” back on the top of the charts," while another, speaking about TikTok's impact, said, "TikTok is absolutely incredible. I know some people just view it as shallow teenagers/horny cops/widows with reborn baby dolls...But @doggface208 made a 10 sec video skating & drinking cran he made Fleetwood Mac hit #29 on the Hot 100 for the first time in 40 years. that’s POWER."

A new Fleetwood Mac fan who discovered the band through the viral video, tweeted, "That video of that dude cruisin and sipping on cranberry juice has inspired me to listen to Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours” and man this shit is pretty hard."

On the music front, Fleetwood Mac's vocalist and songwriter Stevie Nicks has a couple of projects coming this month like '24 Karat Gold: The Concert' and a new single titled 'Show Them the Way'.
