Apart from being an acclaimed actress, Viola Davis has an amazing sense of humor too. We got a peek of her on Twitter and Instagram when she posted a photoshopped image of hers. The original image is of Kylie Jenner from Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's latest track 'WAP'. But instead of Kylie’s face, Davis’ face has been morphed into it.

As reported by MEA WorldWide (MEAWW), in less than 24 hours, the video has clocked over 25M views and counting but a majority of people aren't too happy to see Kylie in the video. A petition was also started on Change.org demanding Kylie's removal from the video, which has already received over 60,000 signatures with 75,000 set as the goal. The brief for the same reads, "The video was perfect until we saw K and I wanted to throw my phone."

Davis posted the video on both the social media platforms with the caption, "Who did this?" followed by two crying emojis and one heart-eye icon. On Instagram, she even used the hastag: #HowToGetAwayWithWAP. Social media couldn’t keep calm and was flooded with posts praising the ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ star. Later, on Instagram she credited the art work to a user named @harpybitxh.

One fan said, "We need you on the remix queen!"

Singer Jimetta Rose said, "I don’t know who did it. But I bet whoever casted Kylie in the video now wishes it had been them."

Another user commented, "Nah this funny as hell cause that girl who tweeted 'dang they couldn't have added Viola in the video?' was dead serious too."

One commented, "Viola Davis with the hashtag of the year #HowToGetAwayWithWAP."

One said, "WAP really made me love Viola Davis even more and she wasn’t even on the damn song. The powerrrrrrrr."

Another said, "Viola Davis said...how to get away with #WAP. Well Alrighty then Mrs. Keating."

One wrote: "The fact that Ms. Viola was able to laughhhhh at the joke REALLY warms my heart."

One stated, "viola davis knowing she’s apart of the WAP community and using #HowToGetAwayWithWAP, an icon."

Fans were equally excited on Instagram. One said, "I dunno but I would have preferred you honestly." Another said, "It was what we deserved." Most users praised her sense of humor. One commented, "The hall walk we deserved."

According to a recent Page Six report, Davis will receive the best actress at the African American Film Critics Association’s second-annual TV Honors on August 22. The virtual event will include a special homage to Davis for her run on 'How To Get Away With Murder'. Kenya Barris and Sterling K Brown are also among the honorees. Aida Rodriguez will host an invite-only stream that will later be available on the AAFCA’s YouTube channel. A part of any proceeds earned will go to the National Association of Black Journalists’ coronavirus relief fund.

There's more good news for her fans. As reported by Times Square Chronicles, Monumental Women, the all-volunteer nonprofit group bringing the first statue depicting real women to Central Park, announced that award-winning actors Jane Alexander, Viola Davis, America Ferrera, Rita Moreno, Zoe Saldana and Meryl Streep will portray Sojourner Truth, Susan B Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton in the 'Talking Statues' monologues in English and Spanish languages that will accompany the Women’s Rights Pioneers Monument. Viola and Zoe will voice Sojourner Truth and the monument is set to be revealed on August 26, according to the report. It will be installed at Central Park’s Literary Walk on the centennial anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment when women won the right to vote, as suggested by the report.
