'Veronica Mars' Season 4: Fans refuse to accept that the bombshell finale is the real one
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA: Of all the amazing and awesome things that happened at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, probably the best news was that season 4 of ‘Veronica Mars’ premiered a week before its original release date. Fans were ecstatic about this, obviously. The wait, after all, has been a really long one – five years.
Kristen Bell who plays the titular ‘Veronica Mars’ said that the early release is Hulu’s birthday gift for her - and the fans – at the show’s panel at SDCC to many cheers and resounding applause. Those following the Comic-Con updates online too were quick to express their gratitude for the early gift, going as far as to say that they are not deserving of it, despite Hulu tweeting, "THIS IS WHAT THE MARSHMALLOWS DESERVE."

Major 'Veronica Mars' season 4 spoiler ahead
In the three days since the announcement, most hardcore fans have finished bingeing on 'Veronica Mars' season 4 on Hulu, and are basically heartbroken. This would be the point to actually close this article if you haven't finished watching the series yet.
Logan (Jason Dohring) was killed off, and fans are heartbroken, probably no one as heartbroken as Logan himself, who even left a heartbreaking message for the fans, saying why he understood the direction that creator Rob Thomas took, even though he was crushed. The message has somehow infuriated the fans more, who refuse to believe that Logan is actually dead, just after he got married to the love of his life, Veronica.
Hey #VeronicaMars fans, if you’ve watched all 8 episodes of season 4 I have a special message from @jason_dohring, a class act by the way, that will hopefully make your day a little brighter... 🤗💕 https://t.co/cUD7UsXHKw

🚨🚨 Don’t watch until you’ve finished the season! 🚨🚨 pic.twitter.com/JVrSImyT52
Was it really necessary? This is the resounding question that every fan is asking, after watching Logan die in an explosion that was seemingly meant for Veronica. After giving the beloved couple what seemed to be a happily ever after, the showrunners went ahead and did the unthinkable, making many fans claim that the real season finale happened at the wedding.
One of the older fans of the show clearly infuriated with the direction that the show went, tweeted, "This is so messed up! More than 10 years waiting for that!! I hope that the series appeals to younger people because I am not coming back! The series finished with Logan."
I’m upset because Logan Echolls didn’t deserve it. Our own psychotic jackass who grew up into a strong, loving, respectful husband, who struggled so much to get his abusive childhood behind him and find a healthy way to heal... Logan is an integral part of VM. #VeronicaMars

From the way the Marshmallows are reacting to the finale, there is a possibility that Rob might either re-do the finale or return with season 5 and keep Logan alive - barely. There is also a possibility that he is gone for good, and that is the outcome we want to see the least.
