Valerie Bertinelli spotted amidst divorce drama with ex-husband Tom Vitale and Matthew Perry revelations
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Valerie Bertinelli was spotted on Thursday, October 27 sporting a grave look as she returned to the divorce court with her ex-husband Tom Vitale. She was seen wearing a black T-shirt that promoted her son Wolfgang Van Halen's band as she accessorized her monochromatic ensemble with black sunglasses. As per reports by RadarOnline.com, Bertinelli visited the court earlier this week as she and her ex-husband opted to hire a private judge to take care of the remaining matters in their divorce proceedings.
The divorce drama between the two reached a breaking point after Vitale asked Valerie to pay a $50K monthly spousal support, after which Valerie asked the court to terminate both the parties' right to spousal support. Valerie wants the judge to enforce a prenuptial agreement between them, and which has been questioned by Vitale.

Bertinelli and Vitale want the private judge to resolve any remaining matter between them including "any disputes between the parties related to both parties' personal property," as reported by RadarOnline.com. Earlier, divorce proceedings faced hurdles after Bertinelli's ex-husband demanded spousal support. Vitale, a former financial advisor, filed a declaration in July that revealed his job at the Postal Annex was making him $16 an hour and he needed a $50K monthly support. In addition to that, he also needed $200K to fight his ex-wife in court.
After this, Bertinelli asked the court to terminate both parties' right to spousal support and later amended the divorce petition to demand full divorce from her ex-husband. She also said that they had a prenuptial agreement and she wanted it to be enforced. However, the validity of that agreement was later questioned by Vitale which brought some changes to the case as he continued to demand support.
The terms of the divorce settlement are yet to be revealed.
The pair dated for six years before they got engaged in 2010. They tied the knot in their Malibu, California home on New Year's Day in 2011. Bertinelli filed for legal separation from Vitale in November 2021, citing "irreconcilable differences." She then amended her petition to ask for a divorce in May 2022.
Meanwhile, in another shocking revelation, Matthew Perry revealed he had made out with Valerie while her then husband Eddie Van Halen was asleep as the 'Friends' star was infatuated with the 'One Day at a Time' star. In a supposed response, Bertinelli took to her TikTok and shared the lyrics of the Taylor Swift song 'Anti-Hero'. The lyrics read, "It's me, hi. I'm the problem, it's me."
