Meghan Markle stuns in monochrome red ensemble worth over $3K at One Young World Summit

One Young World is a global forum for young leaders that is reportedly near and dear to the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle's heart

MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have returned to the UK once again and this time the royal pair began their three-day journey to the United Kingdom on Sunday, September 4, at the 'One Young World' Summit in Manchester, where Meghan also gave a keynote address to the audience.

Meghan wore an eye-catching all-red ensemble from Another Tomorrow for the opening ceremony; she was sporting their ‘Bow Blouse’ top in fiery red and their ‘Classic Trouser’ bottom in the same shade. She accessorized her chic outfit with simple gold jewelry, matching red Aquazurra heels, and a ponytail. According to Express UK, both the blouse and trousers are priced at $1389 each, whereas, The specific heels that were worn by Meghan are called Panthere 105 Cutout Suede Pumps In Red and are priced at $717.

Several Meghan Markle fans came out on Twitter and reacted positively to the stunning outfit. One person wrote, “Red power okay now you go girl. Do your thing girl.” “LOVE this look omg.. The dress, the earrings, the hair and THE shoes!! And that glowing face ✨ Meghan looks gorgeous.....just so beautiful,” another added. However, not everyone was so impressed and slammed Meghan for wearing expensive outfits. One such person wrote, “I must say just a little bit hard of hearing by wearing a $5000 outfit where she was speaking of female equality might have been better to wear a much less expensive outfit. Instead of trying to look like a  model only to look once again tone deaf doesn't help what she was attempting to promote equality.”

Harry, on the other hand, looked sharp in a traditional suit. The Sussexes also had the opportunity to speak with a group of summit representatives who are leading the campaign for gender equality. 'One Young World' is a global forum for young leaders that is reportedly near and dear to the duchess' heart. Since 2014, she has served as an ambassador for the group, and she has participated in a number of the opening ceremonies each year, including one in Dublin in 2014, where she spoke to young people about the value of women's rights, as well as ones in Ottawa, Ontario, in 2016 and London, England, in 2019.

Meghan said in a statement shared by the group via Instagram last month, "When I was asked to be a Counsellor at One Young World my response was a resounding yes! One Young World invites young adults from all over the world who are actively working to transform the socio-political landscape by being the greater good. They are delegates who are speaking out against human rights violations, environmental crises, gender equality issues, discrimination, and injustice. They are the change." After attending this event, Meghan and Harry are expected to head to Germany for the Invictus Games ‘One Year to Go’ event, and then return back to the UK for the 'Well Child Awards' on Thursday, September, 8.
