‘Undercover Boss’ will see CEO of US cellular, Laurent Therivel, donning a disguise and learn more about the organization he is leading.  While undercover, Therivel will be assisting a network engineer and changing the filter in what appears to be a large computer in the cell tower.

Now, the engineer doesn’t know that he is actually talking to the CEO of the company and tells him that it’s his job to change the filter from now on. The entire filter is filled with dead and alive flies and as soon as he opens the vent, a whole bunch of flies comes flying out of there. That’s just one of the things he would be experiencing during the show and it might really be problematic for him. Therivel has been working in the communications industry for very long and has made a fortune while working. So, let’s get to know how much he has made over the years.

Education and professional qualifications

In 1992, he attended Texas A&M University and garnered a Bachelor’s Degree in Management & Marketing. Meanwhile, in 2001, he took admission to Harvard Business School and garnered a degree in Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Therivel started his professional journey in 1997 after he obtained his Bachelor’s degree. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1997 and was the Operations Officer. He was then promoted to the Telecommunications Operations Officer and led 40+ Marines in the operation of all information technology and telecommunications systems at Marine Air Station Miramar. 

After that, he worked with organizations such as Bain & Company, and IPcelerate as well. In 2008, he joined AT&T and held various positions during his time in the company. He started as the Vice President of the Corporate Strategy and went on to become the Senior Vice President of the same president.

In November 2018, he was announced as the CEO of AT&T Mexico. At the same time, he was also working as the Chief Financial Officer of the AT&T Business. After more than 9 years with AT&T, he joined US cellular as the Chief Executive Officer. The company was founded in 1983 and in 1998 the organization launched its first website. Since then, the wireless carrier has been known for giving reliable services to its customers.
