Tyre Sampson's family slams YK Osiris for LYING about paying $15K for son's funeral expenses

Singer YK Osiris has been accused of exploiting the death of Tyre Sampson, the teenage boy who died after falling from an amusement park ride in Orlando last month. The singer claims that he had given monetary assistance to the devastated family of the teen, but the Sampsons' deny the claim and say that YK is just using the tragedy to gain clout.
Tyre Sampson's funeral took place on April 9, 16 days after he fell to his death from the FreeFall ride at Orlando's ICON Park amusement park on March 24. Exactly two weeks before the funeral, YK offered to pay the teen's funeral cost on Instagram, saying, "If anybody knows his family, tell them to DM me because I want to pay for his funeral cost."

The artist later told TMZ he was in contact with Tyre’s family and was still interested in covering the teen’s funeral expenses; but just hours after Tyre was laid to rest on Saturday, his brother, who goes by the name Jrocc Jr on social media, called out YK on Facebook, saying that he never came through with a donation and was simply using the tragedy to gain some attention.
"YkOsiri or whatever dude name is cancelled. Used lil bro for pure clout," the post read. "Didn’t pay a dime but told the world otherwise. Even posted a fake screenshot of a GoFundMe donation. Stop pretending you about giving back to the community just to get your sales up. Lame as hell."
According to a report by Hollywood Unlocked, Tyre’s mother, Nekia Dodd, responded to the post by claiming Osiris had blocked her on Instagram. While some Facebook users claimed Osiris had donated $15,000 to a GoFundMe set up by Tyre’s mom, Jrocc Jr insisted that this wasn’t the case, and claimed that screenshot of Osiris' donation was fake.
"I’m not even gone argue about it," Jrocc Jr wrote. "Top donation is $500 as shown. We didn’t ask, [Osiris] volunteered. Stop lying to these people. He used my bro for clout.. thas that."
As of now, Osiris has not publicly addressed the family’s claims.

But, Osiris is not the only person who has been accused of using Tyre’s death for clout. A woman, who identified herself as 'Shay Johnson,' gave multiple press interviews demanding justice for Tyre, claiming Tyre was her cousin. However, Tyre's family revealed that they had never met the woman and had no ties to her. Florida authorities later identified the woman as Lewishena Browning, an Orlando resident, who used the teen's death to scam people for 'donations'.
