Donald Trump’s presidency has undeniably left American divided. While his supporters continue to rally for his re-election in November, many are using social media to spread awareness about the consequences caused by him remaining in power. However, the president strongly feels he is going to retain his position for many years to come, which he’s emphasized in his latest tweet.

Trump took to Twitter on August 4, to share a video that features a recreated cover of Time magazine and depicts Trump’s presidency to be infinite. The cover also showcases the title of an article which reads,’ How Trumpism outlaws Trump’ by historian and author Sam Tanenhaus. Before concluding the clip shows ‘Trump 4EVA’ and ‘Trump EEE’.

The video was shared by Trump only a day after his interview with ‘Axion on HBO’, which created a lot of buzz owing to his response to the surging deaths in the US due to the novel coronavirus. When the news anchor Jonathan Swan questioned him about the rise in fatalities from Covid-19, Trump says in response, “It is what it is”. This statement by POTUS was not well-received by the people for obvious reasons, who called him out for being “ignorant” about the lives of people.

Trump’s administration has also come under fire for its approach towards the pandemic. Only a while ago, Trump announced that children need to start going to schools as US economy has begun to reopen, despite the spike in the deaths from the deadly infection. The latest video by Trump has yet again irked Internet users who quickly surfaced on Twitter to remind him of the issues US is grappling with under his presidency, including the civil unrests caused by the death of the 46-year-old Black man George Floyd.

Many wondered what he was trying to imply with the latest video. One Twitter user asked, "Is he trying to say he’s going to attempt to remove term limits?? Like wtf is he actually talking about?" Meanwhile, American former resident physician and social media personality Eugene Gu weighed in and wrote, "This incredibly stupid meme is Donald Trump’s pacificer or security blanket. When the going gets tough, he cracks out this meme and posts it on Twitter to the adoring applause of a bunch of Russian bots, QAnon conspiracy theorists, and yes, thousands of Americans amplifying him."

Eugene stated in another tweet, "Because no matter how old this dude is, his emotional maturity has been stunted ever since his father sent him to military reform school at the age of 13 for being a lying, spoiled little brat. These immature memes, junk food, and porn stars are the only ones that bring him joy."

One user is of the opinion that Trump is trying to establish his authority further with the above video. "Yes hilarious that he wants to be a dictator SMH" read a tweet.

Adding to the previous tweet and drawing a comparison between Trump and Hitler, one user tweeted, "The “PPI” is a test for traits associated with psychopathy. A psychologist Dr Kevin Dutton ranked the psychopathic traits of historical and political figures using the PPI. According to his assessment, HITLER scored 169 TRUMP receive 171". Another added, "Trump is having a terrible day, so now he's trying to distract everyone by recycling an incoherent old video which claims he's going to remain in office until the year "EEEEEE." Nice try, Beavis. You're going to lose and then you're going to prison."
