#TrumpsCovidCoverup: Why has Trump administration sidelined CDC and ordered all pandemic info away from them?

In a new video, the Democratic Coalition offers a possible explanation as to what might be the reason that the Trump administration ordered all COVID-19 information off CDC

The Democratic Coalition has hit back at US President Donald Trump and his administration for sidelining America's health protection agency, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). "Don't make this #TrumpsCovidCoverup hashtag go viral! @realDonaldTrump will say that's illegal," read the caption of the textual video. 

Text in the video further stated the purpose: "Trump has ordered all COVID-19 information away from the CDC. To a database he controls. He doesn't want the world to know if you die. Because it might keep him from getting re-elected. That's it. That's the whole commercial. #TrumpsCovidCoverup." The video was retweeted by Meidas Touch, an organization that is instrumental in creating impactful political advertisements against Trump administration, after which it blew up.

In July, the Trump administration had ordered hospitals to bypass the CDC and send all Covid-19 patient information to the Department of Health and Human Services. The department is now assigned to collect daily reports about the patients that each hospital is treating, the number of available beds and ventilators and other information vital to tracking the pandemic. They said the HHS would use this data to make decisions on the allocation of supplies, treatments, and other resources. The switch from the CDC is said to have alarmed health experts who feared the data will be politicized or withheld from the public.

The Infectious Diseases Society of America, a national organization of physicians, scientists, and public health experts had then said in a statement that placing the responsibility of collecting medical data outside of the leadership of public health experts could compromise the quality and availability of data. It could strain the already overwhelmed hospitals, thereby posing a new challenge to the US pandemic response

After the release of the video, which has already amassed 620K views, people started tweeting their views with the hashtag 'TrumpsCovidCoverup'.

"#TrumpsCovidCoverup is an international scandal. And he’s trying to pretend the whole thing isn’t happening by hiding the CDC data. This is the news story of a generation. It deserves wall to wall coverage. Every day. Pass it on," read a tweet. 

" I bet people working for this demon, Donald Trump, in the White House, have lost relatives to #COVID19. If only blood bonded people as closely as prejudice. Hate is thicker than blood. #VoteBlueToSaveAmerica" read a tweet. 

"#TrumpsCovidCoverup why some ask cuz he did nothing but hope it wiped out blue States, tried to make off Americans dying, blamed everyone though he threw out the National Pandemic Playbook & disbanded the pandemic team so he could build a useless wall. Now tries to wish it away," read another. 

Another said: #TrumpsCovidCoverup "it's a hoax", "it'll go away", "it's only 15 people, soon it'll be down to zero". He redirects hospitals and such to bypass CDC and other health experts. He uses it as an excuse to try to f**k the election up. Schools have NO clear plan to keep kids safe, etc
